The Judicial Commission of Inquiry into the Witchcraft Accusations and Child Abuses, set up by the Akwa Ibom State Government, has shifted its sitting to London.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Panel is scheduled to sit at the Nigeria High Commission in the United Kingdom on Tuesday.
It was gathered that Stepping Stones Nigeria, a charity organisation based in the UK, which was accused by the Akwa Ibom State Government of exaggerating the child witch syndrome in the state, would testify during the sitting.
Governor Godswill Akpabio had ordered the arrest of the officials of SSN and Child Rights and Rehabilitation Network in September 2010 while reacting to Cable News Network report.
He accused the NGO of exaggerating the child witch syndrome in the state for monetary gains.
