Lazy wicked heartless brutes. How many of these people can act like these when the real armed robbers come to town. Bloody cowards. How many of them can run after well armed robbers when they come raiding? They will all scamper away in fear like the cowards they have always been.Lets get serious. The state lawmakers should enact a law banning this kind of treatment in the 21st century. A state known for its excellence and leadership in governance should not fold its arms, close its eyes and indirectly support burning a suspected offender or criminal in public. Please governor Babatunde Raji Fashola should sponsor a law banning this dastardly acts before it gets out of hand. The time to act is now.

Outpouring of condemnation should gear Governor Raji Fashola and our dear President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to take action if this can be done during the daytime with an arrest or apprehension then what kind of government do we have or the attention of our lawmakers both upper and lower house making laws to protect its citizen regardless of what might have happened. Life is the ultimate prize to be paid or taken by just anybody. We can't take this lying low enough is enough for just a necklace that worth nothing and died hurribly is unconscionable. Our law enforcement agent should be call to action for the apprehension of this heinous crime in this our modern democracy. We need or demand an action from our our dear governor and the president now~~~~~~~~~~~Arise O Compatriot Nigeria Call Obey!!!

Those who did this are condemned even here on earth. The necklace is not even worth anything close to what our guys in the 'HOUSE' then stole from us yet they were merely escorted to the EFCC building for interrogations. He died a painful death, the killers are bound for a more gory death.

This is absolutely ridiculous. This is Injustice. Who are they to take the law into their hands, in this 21st century. Its a shame the people involved in the act would never be caught. i hope they sleep well @ night.

This is just too much despite the beating he received from them and effort to walk away yet they still went ahead and burn him to death is unconscionable. It's good there's video of this and all those involved should be apprehended and prosecuted. A necklace doesn't deserve such a treatment and even in a law court the penalty wouldn't be as severe as to death the ultimate penalty. It's time that jungle judgment stopped and that we shouldn't be taking law into our hand. The victim of the theft of the necklace didn't die of why should he deserve such. Many passersby walk away rather than intervene,so were the motorist did likewise and the spectators never taught of saying No rather they were jubilating. Both the state and the security should make sure they were all apprehended and their is public announcement against such action. All these show the level of illiteracy in our society and this give our hard heart from having compassion on fellow human being to doing such act.
