Well, I think the question has a very simple answer. with the way it is framed... I think every man that drinks get hipper after the drink and he wants to get down... that links the cheating thing...he wants to have any available girl around.
But if I would want to take it one at a time, I think alcohol has got an addictive power and it makes you wana do it again. well talking from a philosophic point of view, every man or any person that wants to drink have their own personal view, some people drink because they just want to get High, some drink to beat their shyness, why some drink to get over a problem temporarily... and so on......
The Cheating aspect, well, I actually had to build up my theory on this.... most men that cheat on their wives didn't have the opportunity to explore the ladies world while they were still in their youthful age... so when they get to taste it while they are married they want to do more... but I actually would not want ladies to capitalize on that, their are lots more reasons... I would be writing a book if I have to write about this....

well nigerian men are the worst of the breed cos they are never sorry.
instead they compare themselves to the supposedly worse-off guys

Question: Who do Nigerian men cheat with?
WOMEN
So why do Nigerian women cheat or have multiple partners.
My answer to this question is that some Nigerian men have multiple sex partners and some Nigerian women also have multiple sex partners. We deny the problem if we pretend it is a man's problem. It is OUR problem. Statistically speaking in Nigeria (if we are to rely on the last 2 census) there are about the same number of men as women, so if the average man has 4 partners a year, that means the average woman also has 4 partners right?
So why are 9ijas cheating? What is missing in our lives that we feel we can fill up with multiple partners?

Its abit unfair to just generalise and reduce the theme of cheat and alcoholic to just Nigerian men, all men are capable, as is women also, and not all men act in this way although the capabilities and the opportunities are there or may arise.
why, for the ones who do it, cant be explained by anyone other than they themselves. The rest of us can only direct it towards human greed and discontent; or low self pride and the continuous need to top it up with large numbers of women (this may explain why alcohol plays a part).
I always believe a man that has pride also has enough common sense and fear to think about and correlate the consequences of his actions to the benefits; but because we as women are slowly running out of options we can either stand by his side to help him and endure it or move on to another type of dramatic combinations.
in response to the ones about women's promiscuousness ~ Women don't hold the same level of sexual desires as a man and always attach some kind of weak emotion to every person she is with, most women that move about from men to men it is usually in the belief that she has lost all hope in men and relies on luck to jump on the right one. Or she is not receiving something in her marriage that she thought she should be as a woman, intimacy usually or attention.
