Wealthy gay dad, Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, says he and his civil partner Tony will go to court to force churches to host gay weddings. He told the Essex Chronicle that he will take legal action because “I am still not getting what I want.”

A government bill legalizing gay marriage passed Parliament recently but it included measures to protect churches from being forced to perform same-sex weddings.

“The only way forward for us now is to make a challenge in the courts against the church. It is a shame that we are forced to take Christians into a court to get them to recognize us,” says Drewitt-Barlow. “It upsets me because I want it so much--a big lavish ceremony, the whole works, I just don’t think it is going to happen straight away. As much as people are saying this is a good thing I am still not getting what I want.”

The gay couple shot to fame in 1999 when they became the first British same-sex couple to be named on their children’s birth certificates. They entered a civil partnership in 2006, and Barrie Drewitt-Barlow has reportedly donated around £500,000 to groups lobbying for same-sex marriage.

Last year the Church of England warned that the Government’s plans to redefine marriage could trigger legal problems and end the 500-year link between church and state. In January this year a leading lawyer cautioned that the plans left the Church of England open to legal challenge.

The Prime Minister was sent a copy of the legal opinion by Lord Carey, a former Archbishop of Canterbury. In June 2012 Crispin Blunt MP, who was then a Justice Minister, admitted that the government’s plans could lead to legal issues. He said the government is “seeking to protect, indeed, proscribe religious organisations from offering gay marriage”, but he continued: “That may be problematic legally”.

I don't get it. I thought America is called "the land of the free". Why are do gays feel the need to compel people to do things????

For me, I believe change becomes a byproduct of saturation thus giving lend to the saying that quantitative change leads to qualitative change in the ever dynamic threesome of thesis - anti-thesis and synthesis which becomes thesis again.

Gay rights? let them not stop there, let another group of persons also clamor for bestiality rights because there is a need to start it early now. Children born to heterosexual parents clamoring for gay rights? Consequently, it could be inferred that children adopted raised by these next generation of gay parents or persons in so called civil partnerships could be expected to take the church and X-tians/ Muslims to court later for their rights to sleep with certain domestic animals while another virulent off springs of these persons could again take the church to court again over the desire to be joined in holy matrimony with wild animals of the same sex category. I support human fundamental rights and I don't believe in waiting for my time, I rather go to where my time is and take it.

On this note I hereby inaugurate my NGO On-line to support and advance the human right to be joined in holy flora/ fauna partnership with same sex animals of peculiar interests. I intend to later sue both the State and The Church to increase my civil liberties and place injunctions on any act of prejudice against these desires by either an artificial legal person or a legal person.

The NGO is hereby named the ONE LOVE MINISTRY -Deeper Night Parish and would be run much like the Salvation Army. I am tired of hearing gay rights, I want us to jump start the cry for total human rights in order to advance the cause of egoistic hedonism. Those in favor say AYE and those against say NAY...........
