Netchurch: Are you a Lot of Sodom ? or A Lot of Angels .

Some think living in an America that is at the brink of Starting a world war protects them because America is not just a Super power in words America has weapons of warfare that countries like China & russia only still dream about .But will that save America ? The Second World War was settled by the power of the Atom Bomb which at the time only one Nation possesed .

Now a Host of Countries posses this deadly weapon . This time I kid you not Like sodom the wrath of God will fall where the Sin is heaviest .America was founded on God, China & Russia wasnt because of their continous ignorance . Their judgement awaits. How many times has God doled out his judgement on his people using a people that is not his ? Many Times . Let us pray that God will use this Syrian conflict and expose the weakness in America's Armour before it is too late and we are all plunged into an anarchy of evil and the deadful last Days and Armageddon which is the War of the Universe begins .

Lot's Story is a most perplexing story that even if told on Soap operas Today might totally SHOCK & Awe any who reads it .The R Rated in my Opinion Revelation & Revolutions Take place in everything we think or say but it tells the story with pinpointt accuracy of the hearts of Men .

Two Angels Obviously very Powerful in the guise of Men come into S & G They came for business of an atomic scale they were here to blow up Sodom & gomorah and Lot recognised them but everyone else did not .Lot begged them to eat in his home but they refused they were on a mission . Eventually he begged them really hard and they agreed to eat in his home .This tells us something that angels do listen if we insist and insist .
read this to understand more that we should never faint when praying

Twenty four years after Abram and Lot began their sojourning, the LORD changed Abram's name to Abraham, and gave him the covenant of circumcision.[Genesis 17] Not long afterward, "the LORDappeared" to Abraham, for "three men" came to visit and have a meal with him, and after two left to go to Sodom, "Abraham stood yet before the LORD."[Gen.18:1-22] Abraham boldly pleaded on behalf of the people of Sodom, where Lot dwelt, and obtained assurance the city would not be destroyed if fifty righteous were found there. He continued inquiring, reducing the number to forty five, forty, thirty, twenty, and finally if there were ten righteous in the city, it would be spared.

But then comes the evils of The day . The Men of Sodom who want to have sex with this men (Powerful Angels ). Angels as we do not know almost can do the things men do .They eat and sleep Angels also have sex with humans as the nephilim scourge also showed us who bore men of reknown the Bible in English puts it mildly as "know" which is another word for sexual intercourse in the Bible.

Scary to think of it in this way that we might be in situations right now that many men are sleeping with Angels but not the good ones but evil Angels. A situation exists today that many Men are lusting after Angels or in better words Demons, on TV, in movies, Strip & Nigth clubs On Internet Pornographic Sites etc  and more .

Lot's Story changes when Lot presents two of his daughters who in his words are virgins to the Sodomites and the gomorites Old and Young to do as they liked .. And they refused , most clearly they were Homosexuals of all ages or maybe bisexuals ...

even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
Gen 19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
Gen 19:6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
Gen 19:7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
Gen 19:8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
Gen 19:9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

prelude:

Gen 19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
Gen 19:2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
Gen 19:3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
Gen 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city demanded to have sex with them ....

What we have in the story of Lot is an illustration of a man who once lived close to his godly relatives and had backslidden and was living according to his sin nature. Lot had moved to Sodom, even though he knew what it was, and he “sat in the gate” (Genesis 19:1). That sounds quite simple but in fact sitting in the gate meant that Lot had so entered into the society of Sodom that he was a judge there (Genesis 19:9). In spite of his position, the men of Sodom had no respect for him because they knew he was a hypocrite.

We may sit in judgment of the culture of that day, but protecting one’s guests required great sacrifice. Was Lot right to offer his own daughters in place of the ones that the men of Sodom wanted? No. We can see in the story that the Lord’s messengers protected Lot and his daughters in spite of Lot’s lack of character and worldly viewpoint. Lot meant to appease the men of Sodom so that the hospitality of his house would not be damaged, but he makes the wrong choice in offering his own daughters, and God’s messengers overruled him.

Genesis 19:31-32 tells us that Lot’s daughters believed there would be no man for them and no children. This may be because they saw the destruction of Sodom and believed they were the only people left on earth. They were trying to preserve the family line. Why did Lot have sex with his own daughters? He got drunk. Yes, his daughters conspired to get him drunk, but Lot willingly drank and when he was drunk, he lost what little control and common sense he had (Genesis 19:30-38), and this is the final step in Lot’s backsliding. The lesson can we learn from this is when a person has too much to drink they do not make good choices and lose control of their morals and operate out of the sinful, carnal nature. As a result of the incest, two children were born and those two children are the fathers of two nations that have been at odds with and the source of much suffering to Israel down through history.

So it is with many Men & Women They rush off to have kids when they are not ready and a Failed Marriage ensues and everyone goes back to status quo

Why did God allow Lot to offer his daughters and why did He allow them to commit incest? Sometimes God gives us His reasons for doing something but not very often. The more we get to know God, the more we understand Him and His reasons for doing things. But, again, this doesn’t always happen. We must be very careful when we ask why God does something and be sure we are not calling into question God Himself, His judgment, His character, and His very nature.

The Psalmist tells us “As for God, His way is perfect” (Psalm 18:30). If God’s ways are “perfect,” then we can trust that whatever He does—and whatever He allows—is also perfect. This may not seem possible to us, but our minds are not God’s mind. It is true that we can’t expect to understand His mind perfectly, as He reminds us “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9). Nevertheless, our responsibility to God is to obey Him, to trust Him and to submit to His will, whether we understand it or not.

Lot did the things he did because he chose to live in his old sin nature and do what was easy and made choices to flirt with evil instead of living to honor God, and as a result, there was suffering for Lot, his wife and daughters and by association for the nation of Israel for years to come. The lesson for us is that we need to make choices that do not conform to the world but to submit to the Word of God, which will guide us into living lives that are pleasing to God.
