23 Year old Practising Muslimah, from Birmingham UK, Prays her Salah and always observes Hijab
BismiAllah Rahman Rahim;
Asalama Aleikum Warahmatulah Wabarakatu;
***
I'm a slave of Allah(SWT) first and foremost, I would describe myself as a Muslimah among the big family of muslims world-wide. I don’t take pride or allegiance with man-made flag or cultural/racial similarities, on the contrary the only identity I have is that I’m a muslim Alhamdulilah. Allah(SWT) distinguishes His(SWT) slaves as believers and non-believers and who is better than Allah(SWT) to divide and separate His(SWT) creation ? :D Having said that, I live in the UK and I’m a British citizen with Somalian background. I take my deen very seriously and I try to live my life according to the teachings of Islam as much as I can, inshAllah.
I enjoy researching about the deen and following the current state of the Ummah.
Alhamdulilah, I try to adhere to the tenants of Al-Islam as much as possible.
Alhamdulilah, I'm really religious. As far as studying the deen is concerned, I was taught the Quran at a young age and I'm currently an active seeker of knowledge, alhamdulilah. I am looking to join the IslamiconlineUniversity inshAllah and re-learning the holy Quran by heart inshAllah.
Allah Most High says, "Truly, it is by the Remembrance of Allah that hearts find rest." [Qur'an, 13.28]
On that note, alhamdulilah I'm a regular listener of the Holy Quran, Sheikh Abu Bakr Shatri & Sheikh Ahmed Al Ejmi are my favourite reciters and it truelly gives me peace of mind, alhamdulilah :) I also like to reflect on the meaning of the Holy Quran, alhamdulilah, may Allah(SWT) give us a deeper understanding of His(SWT) deen to get closer to Him and His Rahma ameen thuma ameen :)
I am a happy person, I like to enjoy life within a halal frame-work, not going over the limits, but staying cheerful and happy is a sunnah of the Prophet
Muhammad(SCW) and it gives life to the soul. I am an indoor person most of the time, I go out when I must though. I do like to have a halal environment as much as possible. I enjoy having good-time with children and elderly people(Odd I know!).
I'm tall for a girl (5'7), so that’s a description about my appearance, which I think is important to know, because I am looking for a tall brother. I'm slim-build and I like to exercise as I believe physical health and keeping a good-level of activity is vital for the individual.
I don’t watch (filthy) movies or listen to music, alhamdulilah, I find it a complete waste of time, if you enjoy such things, then we will not be compatible. I spend most of my time gaining more knowledge about the deen or watching the news-state of the Ummah or gaining useful/true knowledge inshAllah. Sports, I enjoy watching, only when I have time for it, for example never compromise deen stuff for games or sports, Alhamdulilah. I find the society I live in as corrupt, meaning the larger-global fasaq that's bombarded to us in the entertainment world and otherwise, I have a good-level of Al-Wala Wal-Bara, alhamdulilah.
I am not perfect and I dont want anyone to think I am, I can be lazy sometimes, but I try to be active. Sometimes I am not that patient, but alhamdulilah I'm improving. I get angry quick sometimes, but I'm working on that too. I could be spoiled, although I would love to live simple, but its not as easy as it sounds. Sometimes I have a sharp tongue, but usually I apologise if I feel guilty about what I have done. I confess I do talk too much, ( as you can already tell? :D) which I'm working on too. No Nafs is totally good, but due to the mercy of Allah(SWT) we always have a chance to improve and fight against our nafs, as long as we're sincere Allah(SWT) is always there for us, inshAllah.
Say: “Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are [all] for Allah, the Cherisher of the worlds.”}* (Al-An`m 6:162).
JazakhumuAllah Kheyran for reading.

LOOKING FOR A PRACTISING MUSLIM MAN
BismiAllah Rahman Rahim;
I know no one is perfect and I'm not looking for perfection as only Allah(SWT) is indeed PERFECT. Hence, we should be simple in our choices as advised by the Holy Prophet Muhammad(SCW), inshAllah.
Having said that, closeness to perfection would be much appreciated :)
InshAllah, deen is very important to me. SubhanAllah, someone with deen has everything inshAllah. Hence someone who sincerely practices his deen to the best of his ability, inshAllah. Someone who would place Allah(SWT) and His Prophet Muhammad(SCW) on his head like crown, meaning he identifies and lives as a muslim inshAllah, adhers to the tenants of Al-Islam.
In terms of the 5-pillars of Islam, inshAllah never misses Salah. Honest person who has Haya and God-fearing (filled with taqwa) inshAllah. Someone who cares about the current state of the Ummah and who works for the sake of Allah(SWT) inshAllah. Caring, loving and kind. Generous, this is part of the deen, I dont like people who are misers and who dont like to share what they have for the sake of Allah(SWT). 'Love for your brother what you love for yourself'
InshAllah, someone who doesnt have an ego, who loves for his brother/sister what he would love for himself, basically one who has a good heart and intentions inshAllah. Honesty and openess is very important, subhanAllah, I'm looking for someone who would tell me their bad habits as well as their good inshAllah, no one is perfect and I hate secrets.
I'm looking for someone who would make me better as a muslimah, a Jannah-seeker who has his eyes on Paradise, who lives his life according to:
‘Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler.”
"If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death.” - Prophet Muhammad(SCW)
Someone who sees this life as 'mata' temporary enjoment inshAllah, who focuses on the hereafter and works to live for the sake of Allah(SWT), strives for the sake of Allah(SWT). Whose life and death is for the sake of Allah(SWT).
Someone who is intelectual (there's a difference between mere education and God-gifted intelligence/wisedom), knowledgable in deen inshAllah. Good personality, which is a product of good eman inshAllah. Has sense of humour (makes me laugh) and not stuck-up, relaxed and easy-going inshAllah.
Someone who spends a lot of time gaining knowledge about the deen and following world-events and the state of the Ummah, inshAllah. Lastly, hardworking/determined individual who understand the meaning of:
"Time is like a sword, if you don't cut it, it will cut you."
— Imam Shafi
Although deen is very important to me, I'm also lovey-dovey person so if your not a romantic person, who shows TLC (Tender/Love and Care), then perhaps we will not be compatible. The Prophet Muhammad(SCW) was very romantic towards his wives, so there's nothing to be ashamed of. Mixing culture with deen is a big no-no for me too, this deen is pure enough already it doesn't need to be contaminated inshAllah.
PLEASE DONT CONTACT ME IF YOU-

-Are a liar! (ItakhiAllah)
-Smoker (not willing to give up)
-Football hooligan or addicted to any kind of entertainment or listens to music or any other filth.
-Very Lazy
-Very Irresponsible
-Lacking Haya
-Arrogant/with an ego
-Don’t follow the pure Islam like the Salaf (but not the salafi sect) e.g- not blind-following a group/madhab or in a sect but following the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad(SCW) and adhering to the golden teaching/principles of the Holy Quran.
- Don’t care about the state of the Ummah
-Want to play games, meaning not sincere about marriage
- Has Other wives
-Violent, e.g- if you hit people, no potential domestic violence inshAlla
