The ministry of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is something we should never take lightly. It has to do with the lives of millions of men and women all over the world. When you realize that Jesus died for mankind, irrespective of their race, tribe, region, custom or geographical location, you’ll understand that it’s of the utmost importance.

The preaching of the message of Christ is serious business, and this was the message Paul the apostle wanted to get across to us in this scripture. The Amplified bible is more vivid in expression; ‘’Never lag zeal and in earnest endeavour; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.”

Our ministry, like many others all over the world, is totally committed to taking the message of salvation to every corner of the globe, and we’re neither going to stop nor slow down until Jesus comes.

This great work is not just for some people but for every blood-bought child of God. Jesus said, ‘’And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him; for they know his voice’’ [John10:4]. He’s the Chief Shepherd and you’re now bound to him by covenant. He has made you His own, and that means you’re not a volunteer in this great work He’s committed to your trust. If you still see yourself as a volunteer it means you don’t understand the Body of Christ, the gospel, the covenant and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. That means your salvation is questionable.

You didn’t come into Christ by chance! It would be wrong for you to think you’re the one who chose to receive Christ into your life. His fact is it was the Holy Spirit that enabled you [1corinthians 12:3]. The gospel has to do with your salvation, your life and the life of many others whom God will have you reach before the end of time. Get serious today, there’s much more to be done.

Don’t just talk about doing something; put your money, time and strength where the gospel is working, because this is serious business!
