Court orders EFCC to release Adigwe, Nwosu

LAGOS— For two weeks running, the dust raised in the nation’s banking sector refused to settle with events happening in quick succession.

Jackson's Lawyer Predicts Legal Wrangles

Michael Jackson's shock death at the age of 50 could be the start of a long series of legal battles, his lawyer has said.

Sex ban basis for divorce in Ghana

A lecturer at the Accra Polytechnic says sex ban cannot be the solution to political stand-off.

Delay in salary forces nurse into 'prostitution'

A 24-year-old trained nurse, Stella, says she has been forced into what she calls 'prostitution' by the Ghana Health Service which failed process her salary.

N5.2bn power scam: EFCC freezes contractors’ accounts

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has obtained a court order to freeze the accounts of the companies used for the contracts for which the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Power, Nicholas Ugbane, and nine others are being prosecuted. The order was obtained at the Federal High Court in Abuja through an ex parte application.
