To start with, I know that this group belongs to the teens and if we look at statistics, the teen age which is between 13 years and 19 years are the set of people you will find in Junior Secondary School, Senior Secondary School and a bit of University.
In all, academic excellence matters to all teens. Academic excellence does not jump on people. It must be worked out based on the right principles. I had to start this discussion after I came across a 13 year old boy who finds it difficult to solve a simple arithmetic like:
Simplify
1. 3 multiply by (- b)
2. (- 10) multiply by (-3 b)
3. -24a divided by 8
...etc
I didn't here it from somebody. It was in my presence. As a matter of truth, he asked me to teach him how to solve the simple arithmetic..
I therefor put it to you, what are the principles behind academic excellence?
