Lafta Repubic fires Lafta Missiles into Space
Lafta Republic has test-fired short-range missiles of its Lafta coast, the Lafta government has confirmed. This had led to a series of article's by Obonjo's speech writer.
The tests came as Obonjo warned that US demands over its LAFTA programme could further delay its disabling of non Lafta facilities as agreed last year.
A Lafta Presidential spokesman said the Lafta missile tests seemed to be part of "ordinary rib cracking training".
Analysts say such launches are often timed to make a political point.
Meanwhile, a Lafta foreign ministry spokesman warned the US not to pursue its suspicions that Obonjo has hidden some of its Lafta nuclear programme.
But the US wants Lafta Republic to fully declare its Lafta weapons stockpile and answer US suspicions of Lafta proliferation and possession of a secret crack ribbing enrichment programme. President Obonjo and President Obama are likely to meet in the future to discuss a way forward but for now there are no diplomatic relations with both countries.
