The greatness and popularity of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) is nt by accident. Founded in 1962 as University of Ife but renamed in 1987, in honour of eminent nationalist, politician, lawyer, stateman and ex chancellor, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

hopefully, bcos the school is leaving on past glory now. the emergence of private universities is not helping. our leaders that are meant to pump money into education sector owns the schools. too bad!!!
