In an apparent demonstration of the power of New Media - a tool which will play a prominent role as Nigeria marches towards the 2011 elections, - the March 16 rally of the youth-led Enough is Enough Coalition was followed by numerous people, regardless of location or timezone. While the rally was warming up at the Eagle Square in Abuja, the #enoughisenough hashtag made it’s way to the top (ranging from #10 to #1 at various times) of the list of topics that were most popular (trending) on twitter.
