Okpara-Inland, Ethiope East Local Government, Delta State hosted hundreds of friends, fans and colleagues of Irikefe “Kefee” Don-Momoh nee Obareki, the late Pop-Gospel singer on Friday when the remains of the much loved artiste was interred.
Kefee’s funeral rites began with a candlelight procession and service of songs on Thursday night at Oba Akezua Cultural Centre, Airport Road, Benin City, Edo State. The ceremony ended with a homegoing service and interment at Akpevweoghene Educational Centre, Open Field, also in Okpara Inland, followed by a celebration of life that has thousands of late Kefee’s colleagues in the entertainment industry in attendance.
Sammie Okposo, Nikki Laoye, Annie Ibrahim, Gordons, Princess, Linda Etukudo and Chilee Aguanana, had paid a condolence visit to Kefee’s family last week.
“Kefee brought peace, happiness and love to the world. Even we are heartbroken over her death. We will be comforted by the fact that God knows best and we cannot question him,” Okposo had said during the visit.
