...as president Jonathan rebuffs business overtures.

Troubled Money man, Femi Otedola just suffered another business blow.

His attempt to reclaim his days of glory by revamping his business empire just hit a brick wall.

Informants claim that the connected Nigerian recently approached President Goodluck Jonathan to handle some business deals on the latter’s behalf.

He was said to have also proposed the idea of transforming himself into the sole handler of Kerosene.

The business talk between Otedola and Jonathan was reportedly facilitated by respected citizen, Minister for Works, Senator Sanusi Daggash.

Though it is not clear whether the linkman attended the meeting, sources maintained the end result didn’t turn out as expected for the troubled boss of Zenon Oil.

The President reportedly told him he would get back to him- but in reality informants claimed Mr. .Jonathan doesn’t want to have anything to do with Otedola on the proposed level.

Sources divulged the nation’s number one man isn’t too comfortable with Otedola’s many associations.

According to a source, what Otedola proposed required a certain level of confidentiality and trust. The ingredients appear lacking in their association.

The recently slipped off the list of Forbes list Billionaires is suspected of having a thing or two going with ex vice president Atiku Abubarkar and also too much of former President Obasanjo’s loyalist.

His fight with industrial giant Aliko Dangote and certain disclosures he made publicly against his former confidante are said to be working against him as well.

The subtle rebuff of Otedola’s business overtures by the president is said to have greatly upset his comeback bid.

The down but not yet out of business man is alleged to have permutated that if all went according to plans by June 2011 he would be up and doing on the side of buoyancy.

But despite the seemingly set back the husband of Garment Care’s boss, Nana, is not letting go off his dream.

Sources explained that he is presently positioning himself in such a way that he is conspicuous in the Jonathan camp’s train- attending social gatherings and what’s not with the first family and waiting for the most conceivable opportunity to return to his former grace.
