2011: VP’s aide denies governorship ambition in KadunaBy Agency ReporterFriday, 29 Oct 2010View All (1) Comment(s)Post CommentTwitterSend to friendShareSpecial Adviser to Vice -President Namadi Sambo, Senator Isaiah Balat on Thursday warned those spreading the rumour that he was planing to contest the 2011 gubernatorial ticket of the ruling People’s Democratic Party not to set him in on collision course with Governor Patrick Yakowa.Balat said he had no gubernitorial ambition in 2011 and warned those behind the rumour not to cause disaffection between Yakowa and himself.Balat also pledged his total support to Yakowa and stressed that he had no interest in contesting the Kaduna governorship election next year.Rather, he said, he was committed to ensuring that Yakowa emerged the winner of the 2011 governorship election in the state.President, Arch. Mohammed Namadi Sambo for another four year term as the president and Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.“With Dr Goodluck as President of Nigeria and Mr. Yakowa as the governor of Kaduna state, we will surely witness an unprecedented economic development.
