~GOD'S GIFT OF PROMISES~"Behold the fowls of the air; for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?".......Matthew 6: 26* * * * * * * * * * * *All through this life, we'll have our problems. Adversity is like a grindstone of life.It can either polish us or pulverize us. What it does to us depends uponour attitude. There's no need to worry when we have the promisesof our Lord to claim. He'll bring us through every trial of life as wetrust in Him with all our heart and lean not to our own understanding.Things may not always be as we want, but God will carry us throughas we put our faith in Him.*Walter Raleigh was imprisoned for thirteen years. He didn't mope during theseyears but chose to cope instead. During this time, he wrote The Historyof The World.Martin Luther was confined in the Castle of Wartburg and could have beenovercome. Yet, he choose to overcome the trials in his life and translated theBible during his confinement. We can choose to let adversity polish usand look to the Lord to solve our problems. He is the Problem solver andthere is nothing too difficult for our God. He already knows the beginningfrom the end and has the answer in His hands. We have been given many promises as God's children and the assuranceof receiving answers to our prayers. The promise of having prayers answeredis conditional, and depends upon our abiding in the Lord and letting hiswords abide in our heart. Our problems can be turned into possibilitiesas we let the Lord solve them.Abiding is staying in the will of the Lord and seeking to dwell in the secretplace of the Most High God. There is a place of refuge from the storms oflife and the heat of battle that can be found only in God. It is good to know that if we abide in the Lord and hide His words in our heart, we can ask of Himand expect to receive answers to prayers.God's gifts do not cease with salvation. He keeps on giving and blessing us all thedays of our life, as we look to Him. We could never describe all that our Lorddoes for us each day. As the words to an old gospel song tell us, "it is joy unspeakableand full of glory, the half has never yet been told." One day, we shall beholdthe one who died for us. We shall praise Him eternally for His supreme sacrificethat we might have eternal life. Thanks to our Lord for having us on his mind when He was on the Crossof Calvary. Lift the name of the Lord on high today. God inhabits the praisesof his people and gives the greatest gift of all to those who will receive Him.Claim the promises of God today and be abundantly blessed!Blessings in Christ,~GOD'S GIFT OF PROMISES~"Behold the fowls of the air; for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?".......Matthew 6: 26* * * * * * * * * * * *All through this life, we'll have our problems.
