The story of Saheed Balogun and Fathia’s failed marriage is still afresh in our minds, no doubt. Then, the love birds were always the cynosure of all eyes at every function they attended; even their colleagues in the acting world envied their inspiring relationship. But all of a sudden, the rhythm of the song changedthe two had to part ways based on adultery and fornication charges on both sides. Even spirited efforts by notable politicians like Remi Adikwu-Bakare, Remi and Bola Tinubu and several others to mend fences between the two hit a brick wall.
As keen watchers of the drama were contemplating on what would happen to the two former lovebirds owing to their separation, gist started flying around that a sizzling romance had erupted like a volcano between Saheed and an upcoming actress called Funke Adesiyan. And in just a twinkle of an eye, the two had started attending gigs together and were seen at movie locations grinning from ear to ear as old time lovers. Hence, family, friends and well-wishers bent on their knees praying that the purported romance would lead to the altar, at least to heal the wound left by his estranged lover, Fathia. But it tuened out to be a dream as it never came through. Just recently, news filtered out again that the two have gone their separate ways.
