The Arewa support group for IBB has declared its support for the presidential ambitions of President Goodluck Jonathan.
Addressing a news conference in Abuja, the coordinator of the group, Hajia Mariam Abdullahi said that the declaration for President Jonathan became inevitable when Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar emerged the northern consensus candidate for the 2011 presidential election.
Hajia Abdullahi lamented a statement credited to the president aspirant, where he was alleged to have called for violent change if necessary.
Meanwhile, the Goodluck/Sambo Presidential Campaign Organization has launched a new campaign strategy to ensure victory for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2011 election.
The strategy code named �Neighbour to Neighbour� aims at recruiting volunteers who will engage their neighbours to vote for the president during next year�s general election.
