Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Winners Chapel International is reported to have increased the number of jets in his hanger. The new aircraft is estimated to be worth a whooping $30m. 

This therefore brings the number of his private jets to four. .

The private jet, a Gulfstream V was declared to the over 10, 000 worshipers who thronged Canaanland on Sunday March 27th, by the bishop himself. 

The bishop said the new jet will be used exclusively for the ministry's African Mission. 

In his speech on Sunday, the bishop also announced that a state-of-the art private aircraft hanger that can accommodate five jets at a time is being built for his jets near the international wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport.

Apart from this latest acquisition, the bishop has a Gulfstream 1 which he acquired in 1996, a Gulfstream 4 and a Challenger Aircraft.

When the spokesperson for the church, known only as Mr William, was contacted, he confirmed the story. 

"Yes, Bishop announced the purchase of a jet on Sunday," he said.

I think he should have built the biggest hospital in America .As if they dont have enough hospitals in America.

He called on other Nigerians in Diaspora to think home and help in the development of the country.

A statement by Obi’s Special Adviser on Media, Val Obienyi, made available to Sunday Sun said the commissioning was part of his one-day visit to America as he accompanied President Goodluck Jonathan to the United Nations Session.

Obi who met with various investors in America while on the working visit according to Obienyi also turned the sword of the Sleep Centre under construction by the same Nigerian doctor, Ifeakor, an indigene of Anambra State.

According to him, on hand to help the governor was the Minister of Health, Prof Onyebuchi Chukwuma and other dignitaries from Nigeria and America. Obi who was accompanied by his wife, Margaret, expressed surprise at the magnificence of the hospital and how well equipped it was..

He said he strived to attend the function because he felt delighted in seeing Nigerians especially Anambrarians do well in their various fields. “Already, he is building a hospital and university in Abuja, but I will subtly remind him to remember Anambra State especially. I am particularly proud that he has employed many Nigerian doctors as well as whites in the hospital.

“I am proud of him and as an evidence that he is not afraid of his roots, he named all his businesses in America, including the Hospital and pharmacy after Igbo names”, he said. The Minister of health commended Obiakor for his bold strides and told him that now was the time for him to partner with the Government.

The climax of the event was the inspection of the hospital and its many departments led by Obiakor.

He explained that the hospital started with the department of Gynecologist and Obstetrics before expanding to community Medicine, Pharmacy and other departments. He said that he was already talking with the New York State University for conversion into a health institute and highlighted the planned establishment of HIV training and management department.

2Face builds hotel in Abuja

Multi talented superstar, Innocent Ujar Idibia, a.k.a 2face Idibia is reportedly building a hotel in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Sources have it that it is one of the biggest projects he is working on at the moment.


According to a close associate of Idibia who does not want his name mentioned, the hotel in question is currently gulping millions of naira. He said further that the whole idea of owning a hotel started when 2face held his 10th anniversary celebration in Abuja. He got a land gift from one of his numerous admirers and after making consultations with close friends, he decided to erect a hotel on the parcel of land. Our source couldn’t reveal further the state of the hotel now because he has not been there in a while./

One may have no cause to doubt this privileged information because Idibia himself loves properties to a fault. Aside the properties he has invested in including one he is currently staying in Festac Town, Lagos, it was alleged at a point that he got a house gift in Abuja from former Presidential aspirant, Rochas Okorocha.

Rhythms & Sounds put a word to 2face’s managers but they denied knowledge of the hotel. 2Face himself is yet to return to the country after his performance with Mario in London on July 30, 2010.
