Mr. Ayo Fayose has debuted on the list of Nigerians who own properties on Banana Island- the haven exclusively for the well-to-do in the heart of Lagos.  

Findings revealed the soon to be completed structure to be blocks of luxury apartment.

Disclosed to be a twin building, it parades all of 12 block of flats.

Sitting on some two plot of land, the all brick wall property is located on close C, off Nasarawa Street on the paradise-like Island.   

Work men at the site have less than a month to deliver the project, a source divulged.

Parts of the facilities on parade at the place are a sprawling car park and a lovely swimming pool.

Though it not clear how much the hunky politician has expended on the project a piece of land where the building is sited is said to have cost him 450 million naira.

A visit to the site showed that work is being speed up to ensure that the deadline is met. Further findings showed the edifice will serve commercial purpose on completion.

Investigation revealed that most of the fixtures and fittings that went into building, except the furniture, were sourced abroad..

Fashion designer Clement Mudiaga Enajemo (MUDI) launched hisclothing line and store in Kenya on Friday March 19 after narrowlyescaping a plane mishap.

The designer was traveling together withfive major Nollywood stars from Nigeria to Kenya for the launch.

Accordingto the Nigerian High commissioner to Kenya Dr Chijoke Wigwe, the groupwas supposed to travel to Nairobi on Thursday night (March 18). “Twohours into their flight, the aircraft they were traveling in developed atechnical fault while flying over Cameroun. They then turned back toLagos.”

Still determined to make it for the launch the partyrestarted their journey again on Friday at 11:45 am (Nigerian time) andarrived in Nairobi at 10:30pm (Kenyan time).

At the time of theirarrival, the guest of honour Kenya’s Tourism minister Najib Balala hadasked to be excused as he had another engagement.

The flightmishap notwithstanding, the show still went ahead. The jetlagged stars,Fred Amata, Victor Osuagwu, Gentle Jack, Basorge Tariah Jnr. and EmekaOssai showcased the new 2010 designs that will be selling at the newMudi store located at Thigiri Ridge Road Shopping Complex in Nairobi.

Tourismminister Najib Balala encouraged his fellow parliamentarians to visitthe store and sample the various designs. Other guests at the partyincluded Rosemary Odinga, MP Shakeel Shabbir, CEO UBA Manz Denga andNazlin Omar.

Mudi designs have been worn by world-class clientelethat includes Nigerian ministers, diplomats, bankers, businessmen,musicians and Nollywood actors.
