Rising stand up comedian, CD John, famous for his jokes on an imaginary Igbo female chorister is dead.
It was reported that CD John died at St. Nicholas Hospital,Thursday morning, from complications arising from an accident last night, after his black Gulf 2 car ran into a stationary vehicle on Lagos Island.
According to sources, he was returning from Questionmark act, Harrysong’s album listening party held at Tribeca where he was the MC . He was driving back to his Jakande estate, Isolo home, when the accident occurred ’.

Born John Chijioke, the rib cracker was a refreshing face to burst into the comedy scene in 2010 and will be remembered for his unique style of crafting jokes from popular Christian songs.
It was reported that industry players like Gbenga Adeyinka, Teju Babyface, Basketmouth, have confirmed the accident and reports of his death.
