The beautiful actress who is divorced from her huisband Hassan is in her 40′s. she is popular for her role in movies like most wanted’. She fits into any role assigned to her.

For a while now, there have been speculations that Wizkid and his longtime boo Tania Omotayo are no longer together. They have not been spotted together at events as frequently as they used to, then they posted some cryptic messages on Instagram and Twitter which even fuelled the rumours....

A teenage girl named Funmilola has been arrested by the Nigeria police after she attacked another teenage girl with a sharp object, slashing her neck, after accusing her of dating her boyfriend.

15year old Haliya Odunaya (pictured above), who is a senior secondary student is currently receiving treatment at Stars Clinic on Apapa Road in Ebute Matta after the brutal attack left her fighting for her life.

Her attacker, Funmi, who is said to be a little older that Haliya had warned her to steer clear of ‘her man’ or prepare to pay for it. On Saturday March 15th, Haliya paid, and paid big time.

After Funmi heard that Haliya and her boyfriend had met up that day, she went to Haliya’s house to confront her. And that was where the attack took place. 

The popular actress is looking better than ever.

Nollywood Actress Bisola Badmus has revealed that  Fuji king — Wasiu Ayinde Marshal is indeed the father of her 2-year old son.

The actress who denied the rumor linking the ace musician to her son in 2012 also says K1 is her husband; she tells Encomium  in new interview: -

I thank God for giving me a wonderful son, a cute one at that. I am happy as a mother let me correct the impression by the public and some press men that may be because K1 had denied the paternity of my son, that’s why I kept quiet since. That’s not true; I only do not want to talk because I hate noise, most especially on my son because he is too young for that. The nigerian popular singer and former project fame winner, Iyanya Mbuk, has announced the launch of his social responsibility project  ’The Iyanya Foundation’, which will cater to orphans and less privileged members of society.

Iyanya, himself an orphan, says he’s hoping to use the NGO to help orphans across the country make their lives better.

He wrote on his Instagram page ‘(I’m) One of the very few orphans that had the opportunity to become great and influential in the society through my music and with MTN giving me the platform through Project Fame. Not every talented boy/girl on the street today will be as fortunate as Iyanya. Through this Foundation, our drive is to help and establish as many orphans.’

Iyanya has lost both parents and an only brother. He has a tattoo on his chest as a constant reminder of his deceased family members.

The nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson who has been at loggerheads with movie marketers has resolved her conflict with the body, which consequently enables her to feature in movies again.

The Film and Video Producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria said that the ban has since been lifted after Mercy apologized for her perceived excesses.

The spokesman for FVPMAN, Norbert  Ajaegbu said in a statement, ‘The disagreement between producers/marketers and Mercy Johnson finally ends following the FVPMAN’s national working committee meeting, held on Sunday, March 9, 2014. Mercy having diligently concluded all the jobs in dispute leaves us with no choice than to accept her apology.’

Speaking further about the star actress, he said, ‘She is one wonderful personality we would not want to join issues with. She knows when to say sorry. She has concluded all that we asked her to do. We have directed our members to resume all the previous existing relationship with her.’

The Movie marketers banned Mercy Johnson from acting allegedly for being ‘too expensive’.

Since lifting the ban, the actress is reported to have received several scripts in the space of one week

62 year old football legend and President of German Football Club, Bayern Munich, Uli Hoeness, has been sentenced to 3 and a half years in prison after he was found guilty of dodging 27.2million euros in taxes through an undeclared Swiss bank account. Uli who is one of the powerful figures in German football was charged and sentenced today Thursday March 13th by a German court

He was allowed to walk out of the court today because he has one week to decide whether to appeal the verdict.

Today Monday March 10th, popular football website Goal.com released their Rich List and declared Real Madrid and Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo as the richest active footballer in the world.

The World Footballer of the Year held off rival Lionel Messi in the 2014 Goal Rich List with an estimated wealth of €148million. Retired footballer David Beckham was the 2013 Goal Rich List winner but since he’s retired from football, he’s no longer eligible to be put in the list.....Click here to read more
