12166307279?profile=originalThis is just out of this world, remember this woman from super story? Toyin Tomato? Well shes now a mere support worker in London, checkout her interview:

What exactly has kept you  in England?
It’s my children.  There is a Yoruba saying  that ‘Ojo Ale Mi Ni Mo Lo tuse’( preserve my future) I’m taking care of my children because a time will come when it will be their turn to take care of me. I am slaving in England and i don’t give a damn what people say. I thank God, I have heard them say how can she move from grace to grass, how can she a whole movie star in Nigeria and be doing this kind of job here. I can do anything for money as long as it is not theft, cheat or sell myself or my morals. If it is to sweep the streets of London to make money to survive or keep my children going I ‘Sola Sobowale’ will do it. I believe in what is called Dignity of Labour. In England when i am going to work i don’t hide myself i put on my uniform from home, on my uniform it is written there ‘Household 21’ this is me, i am not ashamed and i don’t give a hoot about anybody when i know that i can’t beg for money so why should i pretend.
Are you a social Worker?
I am a support worker and i am proud of what i do.
The impression people had was that you were doing very well in Nigeria was it a wrong impression or what?
Well people are entitled to their opinion, and i can’t blame them but one thing i won’t do is call myself what i am not. They say i am doing well in Nigeria, how much are we being paid for our roles? If a do a movie i get maybe half a million my children attend good schools here before they left after i pay my children’s school fee, house rent  though thank God i have a house of my own, and i do some other things what do i have left? Like i said i won’t pretend to be what i am not and i must say that ’Sola Sobowale knows what she is doing.’
What is your love life like because a lot of people would like to know about your husband is he in England too?
I will not be able to answer that, i will just say ‘Let Them Say’.
There were rumours that you were in Saudi Arabia and that you were involved in drugs how did you take the news?
I was in England when i got the news, it was when i came home at the Airport that  people began to say that how did you do it we heard you were beheaded and i made a joke out of it. I said do you believe in magic it was all magic that placed the head back and they all laughed. But i was surprised though because i don’t even know where Saudi Arabia is on the map. I wonder why people just talk to tarnish another person’s image. God has made me the head and i shall not be relegated. I thank God for people who believed in me, and those who stood by me. Those that said ‘We know her yes she can shout, but she can never do that’. I thank God for them and i appreciate them. Let me use this opportunity to reassure my fans that ‘Sola Sobowale’ will never and i repeat with a capital ‘NO’ touch anything that is illegal. My father was a retired principal and my late mum a retired headmistress. I am proud of my family and where i am from so i am from a very disciplined background.
Were you ever arrested at any Airport at any time?
No .I am always at ease all the time, effortless when i am travelling no hassles, no stress but praises.

Commentaries:

It was well into the evening, everyone in the news bus froze as a group of young men scampered past in a haste armed with matchetes, axes and cudgels, they

PICTURE ADVISORY WARNING

Monday, March 8, 2010
In the past few weeks, the internet has been inundated with offensive photographs of an accident scene where a driver allegedly crushed to death 19 robbery victims at the Obalende area of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State.

Idahosa

Fresh details have, however, emerged on the incident, as the man who drove his truck over the robbery victims has cleared the air.

The incident, according to him, happened on July 31 2009. And contrary to the general belief that the driver of the ill-fated luxury bus was ordered to run over his passengers by the bandits, the man whose vehicle crushed the robbers was actually the driver of a truck.

The Edo State born driver spoke with Daily Sun at the police headquarters, Louis Edet House, Abuja at the weekend. He said he ran over the passengers thinking they were barricades put on the highway by armed robbers. Giving a graphic account on how the 19 robbery victims met their gruesome death, Osayande Idahosa, 40, said he was driving a Seaner Truck with registration number XN 808 BEN on July 31 last year from Benin en route Lagos.

According to him, he was in company with his conductor, Lucky, and the woman who hired him for the trip. The woman, he said, was going to supply some bags of garri.

Idahosa said he encountered a huge traffic jam at Ore but said he decided to continue the journey because of the nature of the goods in the truck.

He said he noticed that there were no other vehicles on the road until he sighted the headlights of some vehicles at Obalende area of Ijebu-Ode. “When I saw the lights, I was happy. I did not know that it was an evil light that will continue to haunt me till eternity,” he said.

Idahosa said immediately he approached the vehicle, he sighted some barricades that looked like logs of wood on the highway. “I thought it was a police check-point, so I slowed down. But I started hearing gun shots. I saw many people firing at me. Out of panic, I decided to run over what I assumed were logs of woods.

“As my truck ran over the ‘barricades’, I noticed that they were too soft. I also heard gun shots and agonizing cries of people. I suspected that I must have killed some people but I did not know who my victims were. I couldn’t control the vehicle and it ran into the bush. I immediately jumped down and took to my heels. “While in the bush, I saw about 20 armed men in civilian clothes searching for me. They were boasting that they would soon fish me out and slaughter me in pieces. At this time, I did not know the fate of my conductor or that of the woman who hired me.”

He explained that while the armed men where searching his vehicle, he ran deeper into the bush where he found a hole in which he hid. The incident, he said, occurred about 9.45p.m. He said he continued hiding in the bush till six the following morning, August 1. Idahosa further said that in the morning, he started hearing the sound of siren and he saw some of the robbers fleeing the scene. When he suspected that the robbers were all gone, he now traced his way to the highway, he explained.

According to him, when he got to the road, he saw another driver who told him that those he ran over were actually human beings. Idahosa was reportedly advised not to venture near the scene as he would definitely be lynched by the angry mob who were still in shock at the huge number of corpses that littered the road. His driver friend, he said, dropped him off at Ijebu-Ode junction where he picked a commercial motorcycle to the Obalende police station and surrendered himself to the policemen on duty. The cops reportedly took his statement and advised him to go back to the scene as the Commissioner of Police, the Divisional Police Officer and other senior policemen were there for an on the spot assessment.

Idahosa said when he got to the scene and sighted the havoc committed by him, he bent down and wept. He then allegedly surrendered himself to the mob who were walling uncontrollably. “But rather than stoning me to death, they all started listening to my story on how I unintentionally killed innocent robbery victims who I mistook to be robbers’ barricades. The sympathizers started consoling me, telling me it was not my fault. The policemen took me along with them and I was with them for four days before I was granted bail.”

He revealed that for the next one month, he couldn’t stand the sight of meat. “Right now, I won’t engage in a night journey anywhere. The pain is too much for me to bear. My wife is devastated. You can’t imagine the agony I go through everyday when I remember how I crushed 19 innocent people to death. But I trust that God will forgive me because I did not know that they were human beings.”

Driver of the robbed Young Shall Grow luxury bus with registration number XF 285 AKD, Okechukwu Okafor, blamed the tragedy on the bad condition of the road.

He revealed that, on the fateful day, he was on a morning trip from Enugu en route Lagos. The journey, he recalled, was smooth until 3.00p.m when he met a traffic gridlock at Ore. He said he was in the traffic for over four hours. In his words, on reaching a point between the Federal Government College, Odogbolu and Babcock University junction along the Ijebu-Ode/Shagamu Expressway, the luxury bus was forcefully stopped by a gang of armed robbers numbering about 50.

According to him, when he saw the intimidating number of the bandits, he jumped out of his bus and took to his heels. He revealed that while in the bush, he was hearing gun shots and wailing of people in agony. “I thought it was the robbery gang that was killing my passengers. It was not until the following morning when I found my way out of the bush that I learnt that it was a truck driver who refused to stop for the robbers that ran over my passengers.”

Okafor said he wept when he was confronted with the crushed bodies of the passengers. “You know, right from the park at Enugu down to the scene of the ugly incident, we had all become friendly. In fact, in my 22 years of driving, I had not seen or heard such a story that looked like a fairy tale.”

Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Mr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, said the incident happened on July 31, 2009.

“Following some offensive photographs being posted on the internet by some mischievous people who made the incident looked like it happened recently, the force would like to inform the public that the ugly accident happened on July 31, 2009,” he said.

He said 19 passengers of the luxury bus, including six females and 13 males, were crushed to death by the truck.

He explained that the file in respect of the case has been duplicated and forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice.

The Senate had earlier called for a thorough Investigation into the incident after a serious dressing down of the Police Boss IG Ogbonaya Onovo

Top Nigerians With 'Love Children'

In a culture where our forefathers often had as many as 20 wives, with a flock of concubines thrown in for good measure, it comes as no surprise to many Nigerians that many citizens in elevated stations in the society have spawned a generation of children out of wedlock.

In spite of the age-old argument that, given the Nigerian culture - as it concerns procreation - no child is illegitimate, the reality on the ground is that most children begotten outside wedlock often suffer a fate comparable with that of second class citizens.

TEMPO investigation discovered that owing to the popularity of nuclear families in Nigeria, love children have fared much worse as housewives, and in some cases husbands, are grimly opposed to bringing love children into the nuclear family setting.

The question on the lips of many is:

What manner of a future is bequeathed to these hapless children and what ought to be a responsible position on the issue, on the part of parents?

Consider the case of Rasheed (once christened Rasheed Okoya). Shortly after his mother, Ajoke Okoya's, marriage to Alhaji Rasaq Okoya crashed, an unholy acrimony ensued between the erstwhile famous couple over the paternity of the little boy. That parting encounter was as volatile as the celebrated parting between Chief Tom Ikimi and his divorced wife. In the end, a DNA report from London proved that, indeed, the child belonged to nobody but Rasaq Okoya. It was after this obviously conclusive evidence that the story filtered out that Ajoke may have had the kid for one of Okoya's close friends. Till date, both Okoya and the friend are said to be sworn enemies.

Consider also the story of Lara Okerentugba, who had a stormy and passionate romance with the Edo State governor, Lucky Igbinedion, whilst the latter was Chairman of Oredo Local Government Council of the state. The Itsekiri-born lady had actually had to escape through the window of a club house in Benin when Edo First Lady, Eki, found her (Lara) with the governor. As the story goes, had Lara not hastily scampered out of reach, she might have been harmed by the incensed Eki, on that occasion. Today, Lara lives in New York with the eleven-year-old kid, who is a product of that liaison...

An alumnus of UNIBEN, she once worked at the World Trade Centre, New York, and her kid is reportedly a lookalike of the governor, sans the moustache, of course.

There is also the case of Senator Arthur Nzeribe, who fathered Toyin Fagbayi's 11-year-old daughter, Tosin. It was also a paternity scandal that rocked the society circles while it lasted. For, at the time, Toyin had been close as well to Kano billionaire, Aliko Dangote and Segun Awolowo, grandson of the late political sage, Pa Obafemi Awolowo.

While Aliko had outrightly denied ownership of the bundle of joy, back then, Segun had come close to accepting responsibility. But his mother, Zainab Abah Folawiyo, had put her foot down and that had let Segun out of the embarrassment.

Nzeribe had finally accepted fathering the kid, but not before insisting on a DNA testing process, which had confirmed him as the lucky man.

The list is seemingly endless.

Several years back, Muyiwa Fagbemi, younger brother to Olu Fagbemi, had suddenly found himself saddled with a love child. The little girl, Tolulope, was borne him by GTB big girl, Arese Longe, who had had to fly abroad to have the baby. At the time, the scandal had badly rocked Muyiwa's freshly contracted marriage, but he has since papered over things with his wife.

Another big boy whose marriage nearly collapsed on account of a child outside wedlock was Koye Rhodes, son to the late Chief Yinka Rhodes of the defunct ROSABOL fame.

Although married to Mosun, Koye had fallen head-over-heels in love with CMC Furniture boss, Yinka Oshobu, to the utter dismay of his wife and her family. In rather rapid succession, a son was given him by Yinka, and Koye, who had hitherto had only female children from his wife, couldn't have been happier. The romance was to eventually to grind to a bitter halt in 2000.

Aside from young businessmen, our elder statesmen have also had a fair population of children outside wedlock. It would, indeed, be boring to recount details of the countless kids fathered by the likes of the late M.K.O. Abiola, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, King Sunny Ade, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal and Sir Shina Peters who among his many love kids, has a beautiful daughter by the beautiful actress, Clarion Chukwura.

Even as you read this, Nigeria's former head of state, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, has gone to the Supreme Court to ask the court for ample time to file a counter claim to a N10 million paternity suit filed by his one-time mistress, Edith Ike-Okongwu.

The subject of the tussle, which has passed through the Lagos High Court and the Appeal Court, is Young Musa Gowon, whom Edith is claiming belongs to the Plateau-born ex-ruler from the affair in the late 1960s. It is another instance where a once passionate love has turned determinedly ugly and bitter. For while Edith, now a cancer patient, is certain that Gen. Gowon will eventually cough up the N10 million and accept fatherhood, the Plateau General has vowed that that will only happen over his dead body.

Earlier on, in August 2002, Chris Obioha, brother to NADECO warlord, Ralph, had spoken out, disclosing that his marriage to Joy, nee Chukwure, had been set asunder by Anambra-born billionaire, Emeka Offor. Although himself from a privileged background and rich to boot, Chris had been heartbroken to see the way Emeka Offor allegedly waltzed into his life and deprived him of his joy. Today, Offor has a three-year-old daughter by Joy, whom he has set up in a big way in Maitama, Abuja.

Another eminent citizen who has a couple of these stigmatised children is the handsome, gap-toothed, Minna General, Ibraham Badamosi Babangida. Aside from his two kids by a daughter of the Bozimos, an influential Ijaw lady from Warri, IBB is also father to US-based Pamela, whose mother died of HIV/AIDS over three years ago.

But when one mentions Generals of the Nigerian Army, most people often dismiss the issue, pointing out that top military men and mistresses are inseparable quantities. The corollary being that they are bound to leave countless offspring in their wake.

Or how would one explain the case of President Olusegun Obasanjo. Shortly after he entered Aso Rock, one of his sons had reportedly visited him. The lad (not Oluremi's son and not Stella's) had driven over in a fancy Honda. OBJ had reprimanded him over the expensive car and sent him off with a rebuke ringing in his ears. Said to be a formidable actor in the question of love children, he has one child by Evelyn Amadi and two by Gold Oruh. It is not clear whether his romance with Lynda Soares, who died in 1986 at age 40, produced any offspring.

Where this matter is discussed, OBJ's astute V.P., Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is no slouch. Handsome and generous to a fault, he has always been arduously pursued by the women folk since he was an adolescent. As a result, he has worked his way through a whole population of beautiful women, liberally procreating for posterity. Among the women who have had children for him are Gloria, whom he met whilst still in the Nigeria Customs, Priscilia and Julia, the Edo beauty, who's into properties. The list is a long way from being exhaustive. Hajiya Saratu would have made the list had she not chosen to abort her pregnancy. She actually nearly lost her life in the process.

The list actually goes on and on. A lot of people recall, for instance, that Gen. Oladipo Diya had had to divorce his first wife who bore him Simi, his heir. Till today, he has refused to forgive the lady whom he accuses of having had an extramarital fling decades ago. The result of that careless fling is a grown young man named Tayo.

Also a very prominent pro-democracy activist based in lagos, has a memento from an out-of-wedlock adventure. The kid, also a full grown man, is today a major in the Nigerian Army.

Equally amazing is the case of Funso Alayande, who is reported to have been borne to Rev. Pa Alayande from a source other than his bonafide wife.

Chief Richard Akinjide is also reported to have had a son from another source, before Yomi, his official first son was born. Likewise, not many people know that Otunba Adekunle Ojora had a girl from outside wedlock before Erelu Ojuolape bore him Gbegi.

Kolapo Ishola too is also known to have recorded a daughter from a stray bullet, much earlier on, just like Dr. Kunle Olajide, who fathered two kids by a white woman. As forChief (Dr.) Engr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo, he recorded so many children outside wedlock that he is believed to rank with the greats like Fela, M.K.O. Abiola, etc., etc.

Consider also Jide Adeniyi of POATSON Fame. He has a grown son, Demilade, from a much earlier relationship. Today, Demilade has made something of himself. Trained as a journalist, he now manages musicians. He was born to the creative chief before his brief marriage to Bola Jegede, which produced two kids, Seyi and Junior.

Dr. Majekodunmi of St. Nicholas Hospital, fame and sole administrator of Western Region in the turbulent 60s had called on one of the Okeowo ladies one day, many years back. Sitting her and her mother down, he had revealed to her that he was her biological father and not Okeowo, who is now deceased. To make up for lost affection, he had presented her the gift of a building on the Abeokuta Expressway.

Another elderly gentleman, T.O.S. Benson, had been involved in a controversial cat and mouse game in 1997 with a grown-up lady who kept calling up newspaper editors willing to tell the story of how she was Benson's daughter, but he had repeatedly denied her. She has since been compensated and helped to relocate overseas.

The same T.O.S. Benson revealed to TEMPO several years back that his very first son was from an Ijaw woman when he was a Customs officer in the Port Harcourt area.

If all that seems like so much ancient history, consider the case of Niyi Adebayo, governor of the young Ekiti State. He panicked badly early last year when a couple of soft-sell tabloids picked up the story of how he had had a daughter by a rural Ekiti girl. So messy were the details that Remi, his Press Secretary, had had to be dispatched to Lagos to call media executives to a lunch conference, where the professionals were begged to be "more friendly".

Many big-named Nigerian VIPs who have since commuted to the great beyond have kindly left their contributions to the community of love children. Like the case of the lateVictor Okafor, a.k.a. Ezego, his wife Nkechi had only girls - four in all. At a point, Ezego was so bored about it that he decided to take practical steps to ensure he had a male heir to succeed him. Poor man. He ended up having a fifth daughter - outside wedlock.

The late Chief Bola Ige is another man who left bold footprints on the sands of this "community". The youngest wife of one of Ige's benefactors, Alhaji Omo Owo had shocked everyone when her husband (the benefactor) died. Her disclosure had been that her second and fourth kids had been born for the late Justice Minister.

Again, there had been a moment of uneasiness and embarrassment when, at IGE's death, early this year, a couple of adolescents had shown up in his compound and actually entered their feelings in the condolence register. One of them was Taiwo who claimed to have been born by Mrs. Falilat of Aliwo Ile Eleta, Agodi. They had been quietly pulled aside by members of Ige's household and urged to keep their presence to themselves. As if this hadn't been enough, the page of the condolence register on which they wrote was ripped out of the book.

Now, enter the colony of ravishingly beautiful Nigerian women who have had love children for VIPs for one reason or the other.

Heading this category is hard-drinking and hard-smoking ex-beauty queen, Bibiana Ohio. She absolutely swept ex-Belgian Ambassador, Christian Van Driessche, off his diplomatic feet. So much so that he would have given her the moon and the stars on a platter had they been within his reach. What came within his reach was a daughter, which he gladly gave her three years ago.

The story from Belgium now is that our Bibiana has gone missing with the daughter in tow, and Van Driessche, now Head of African Desk in Belgium, has been looking everywhere for her. At a point, he even involved the Interpol.

Regina Askia is another ex-beauty queen with a love child to her name. She had Stephanie, her first daughter, for a French man. Happily, Stephanie now lives with Regina in her new marriage to an American in New York.

Equally in the class of the bold and the beautiful is ex-Pyramid Nite Club owner Ibinabo Fiberesima. Known for dating money-bags and expatriates, she ended up having Sean, her first son, for Coughlan, an African-American, in 1998. She recently married Philip Trimonel, even though the marriage has reportedly developed troublesome cracks.

Gloria Ibru was swept away with passion for talented musician and playboy, Sammy Okposo, about five years ago. Alula, a pretty little girl, is the result of that whirlwind romance. Many had thought Sammy had gone in for the Ibru millions, but he shocked everyone when he refused to marry the bulky Gloria.

A MUSLIM actress has caused a storm by posing naked for Playboy.

Sila Sahin has been branded a "whore" and a "western slut" after appearing
topless on the cover of the German edition of the men's magazine.

Soap beauty ... Sila Sahin

And Islamic fanatics have posted threatening internet messages.

Sila, raised in Germany by conservative Turkish parents, says she fears being
"spat at" and "shamed".

Her parents are said to have reacted with "horror" at the 12-page coverage,
and her mother has apparently cut off all contact.

Sila, 25 - star of German soap Good Times, Bad Times - claimed the shoot was a
reaction to the "slavery" of her youth.

She added: "What I want to say with these photos is, 'Girls, we don't have to
live according to the rules imposed upon us'.

"For years I subordinated myself to various societal constraints. The Playboy
photo shoot was a total act of liberation."

Threats

But Islamic internet sites are being monitored by the BND - the German
intelligence agency - after threats were posted about her "shaming Muslim
womanhood" and "prostituting herself for money".

One poster on the Jihad Watch website wrote: "She needs to be very careful..."
Another simply said: "She must pay."

A kebab shop owner, asked on German TV what he would do if Sila were his
daughter, replied: "I would kill her. I really mean that. That doesn't fit
with my culture."

The Islamic Community of Germany has called for a boycott of Sila.

About three million Muslim immigrants live in Germany, which has seen numerous
honour killings in recent years by fanatical husbands, fathers and brothers.

In 2009, an asylum seeker was sentenced to life after killing his "too
independent" German wife.

One police intelligence officer said of Sila: "I think what she did was either
very brave, or very stupid. She will be double-locking her door at night for
a long time to come."

Genevieve[1].jpg

Ever since movie star actress Genevieve Nnaji made an entrance into the Nollywoodscene, she has successfully managed to keep her private life in the dark.

Well, just a few hours ago, a picture of Genevieve and a young lady who bears a striking resemblance with the actress popped up on Social Networking site Twitter. Many claim that the unknown lady is Genny’s daughter which she had over a decade and a half years ago.

By mere looking at the photo above, you can make the assertions yourself…

The identity of the girl’s father remains unknown as Ms Nnaji has successfully kept that part of her life private desipte years of media intrusion. Photo below right

She did not have the so-called ‘normal’ childhood. Her teenage life12166309467?profile=original was truncated. She became pregnant at 17. Much was not expected from the little girl who did not follow the ‘golden rule’ of right upbringing (from secondary school, university and to career), however, against all odds, Genevieve Nnaji has broken, recreated and became the rule for many and is now a success story.
In an interview she granted Treasure Magazine, Genevieve shared the story of her life. The Mbaise, Imo State-born actress didn’t grow up in the East. She is what you call the typical Lagos girl. Speaking on her childhood, she said: “I grew up in Lagos basically; my family is here in Lagos. I went to Methodist Girls High School, Yaba, Lagos. My mum is a teacher and my dad is a retired banker. Okay, I’m from a family of 10, eight kids, mummy and daddy. I left school in 97, went to UNILAG to do Creative Arts (part time); it was difficult keeping up because of doing movies, so I decided to drop and continue with the movie until I’m ready.”

That is not all, she grew up with strong Catholic background, a church she claimed impacted conscience into her, and it was that conscience the made her take a stand against abortion when she became pregnant as a teenager. Speaking on her child and pregnancy, she said: “Yes, I have a child. I was pretty young though. What happened? What I learnt was that no matter how much I try to control myself and be preserved and everything, sh*t still happens to me. So, I think what is meant to be will be.

You can only try to avoid it or prolong it, but it will be. The truth is, if it hadn’t happened I won’t be here now, because it had a way of shifting my life. So, it is like falling to one side and trying to make the best out of it. I probably would not be here. It happened and the best I did was not to dwell on it. It affected me in a way, but I didn’t dwell on it. I just felt it was not about the downfall, but how to pick up yourself that makes you a strong person, and not everybody would understand. And there is this thing I keep telling myself; life is once. So, life starts and ends with you. You live once, try to make the best of it. Don’t let people discourage you, people are going to talk, they are going to judge, but truth is, people who talk the most are those who do the worse. If you are not important, people won’t talk about you. Be yourself, be happy.”

The pregnancy was seven months gone before Genny’s Catholic mum discovered it. Genny said, “She couldn’t believe it, ‘how can she be pregnant when she was very careful’.” A test confirmed it, her parents were disappointed but stood their ground against abortion. “I didn’t feel anything. I didn’t even know till I was about four months. It was there, but I was still in shock. I didn’t believe it. The only time I actually believed it was when I saw it in a scan. Seven months! And I saw it’s in there and I said, “Okay, it’s true!” I was like, “Oh, it’s like some disease....” I think I was pretty much hard on myself then than my parents or people. I was harder on myself, really. My parents reacted the way any parent would react – disappointed. I didn’t know. My mother discovered it for me. I didn’t know anything really. She discovered it for me and it was too late, we couldn’t do anything and we’re Catholics and I’m glad I didn’t do anything funny really.”

Speaking further, she said: “Getting rid of the pregnancy was an alternative then, but it was too late, because not until I was four months before we discovered it and so it was not what we could do, and my dad was like, ‘it’s a child for Christ’s sake. God knows why he wants to bring that child into life”. We are Catholics and it’s just that conscience, you do wrong once and doing another would not make the first right. So, you either correct your mistake by doing the right thing. If I was pregnant, and then have an abortion, it would have been like murder after fornication! So, that was basically wrong.

“I’m sure everywoman knows the feeling of pregnancy, but for the young girl – it is difficult for me to say now, because I have grown much older – but I know at that time it was, let me see... Anyway, I’d just wake up every morning hoping to wake up from a dream... but you know it doesn’t happen so. It’s more like giving me hope that ‘no, it wasn’t...’ I was like looking forward to sleeping and waking up, then it wasn’t getting any better anyway.”

Were her parents at fault? No, Genny took responsibility, “Mine had nothing to do with it, it was a different case entirely, which I wouldn’t want to go into. My parents did their jobs and I did my own job of listening and everything. My parents were fantastic. I got the best of home training. It’s none of my parents’ fault. I was close to mum and Dad and they told me everything I needed to know, okay. But what happened had to happen, somehow. So, I didn’t think it had to do with my parents, although some people could suffer from not getting enough education from their parents, but I think my mum did her part as a mother. Yes, she did.”

On the lesson life taught her, she said: “Like I said before, I have learnt that life is the way you live it. It is not about theory, no lecturer can tell you what life is. Life is what you make of it. Life is what you want it to be, basically. For somebody like me, if I say I want this now and I work towards it, nothing is going to keep me away from that, I’m going to get it. Even if it means me drawing up my account, I want that, and I’m happy. I always think of today and not tomorrow. It is not like, ‘Oh, my children in the future...’ whatever I do right now, I believe I’ll dig into it. Yes, I will try to be considerate later... but life is too short, you go now and whatever you’ve achieved other people will enjoy it.

“I think it is doing what you love doing, that’s what life is basically all about. Be happy; whatever you do let it be worth doing well. Don’t do things because other people expect you to do it. Please yourself, but don’t be selfish about it. You know it’s not like when you enjoy killing; that’s not what I mean. Whatever your direction, if your father wants you to be a doctor and you want to be a musician, follow your dreams! At the end of the day, if you have a gift for it... (go for it).”

All in all, Genny has come of age and done well for herself. She is a role model, not just to teeming aspiring actresses but to those who had a truncated/pause in the journey of their dreams, but are trying to pick up the pieces. And as icing on the cake, the beautiful actress is on the verge of inking a document that would see her pair with a Hollywood star in a multi-million naira movie. Happy birthday to Africa’s queen of the tube!e has risen to become one of the very few iconic movie figures in Africa. Cable News Network (CNN) even dubbed her Julia Roberts of Africa.

On a lighter note :
This wont really work in Naija as there is no light for the iron to function .Moreover Lecturers will find a way to iron it out and still harass female students.

But this is evil !
What is Breast Ironing:

A very painful practice where by preteens and early teanage girl's breasts

("Boobs") are massaged and pounded with such objects as heated wooden pestles, coconut shells, bananas, stones, spatulas to prevent proper breast development.Breast ironing is an illegal practice in Cameroon, Africa in an effort to reduce teen pragnancy and school drop out.

The hot heated objects are pressed against the breast and moved back and forward in a similar way as ironing or pressing a dress.

This is reportedly done daily from early breast development years (as young as 9 years old) until the desired results are achieved.

In 2006 a report by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) in Cameroon, first brought the practice to light.

Aimed at preventing sexual behavior, sexual harassment and rapeand hence pre-teenage sex so pubescent Cameroonian girls could successfully complete their education.

26% of pre-adolescent children are reportedly affected by this practice breast banding or ironing in Cameroon.

No statistic exists showing that breast ironing reduces teenage pregnancy in any way, pointing to no advantage over normally developed girls.

However the breast symptoms and complications including pain, suffering and trauma on the young Cameroonian girls is very acute.

Health experts have also raised objections to such practice of boobs breast massage.

Health Concerns and Breast Symptoms & Damages.

Cameroon healthcare experts advice parents to have frank talks with their young girls about sex rather than resort to such practice.

Given the age of the girls in question, such painful practices cause permanent damage to the developing mammary glands.

Some health expert warn of an increase risk to breast cancer and other health complications.

Legality of Breast Ironing

Breast ironing is a crime in Cameroon, Africa frowned upon by the state and Cameroonians in general.

Prison sentences go as high as three (3) years for any such offense resulting to damages to the breast as determined by a medical practitioner.

Fighters against Breast Ironing in Cameroun

The famous Cameroonian National Network Association of Aunties (French: Réseau National des Associations de Tantines, RENATA) with the support of both the Cameroon Ministry for the Promotion of Women and the Family and the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit, GTZ) is very strong and vocal in its campaign to halt the tides of breast ironing being practice in Cameroon.

Cameroon facts on Female Genital Mutilation in Cameroon

1 % of the female population of Cameroon are reportedly affect by the practice of female genital mutilation.

There seems to be a regional and a religious connection to the practice:

Female genital mutilation in Cameroon is solely practiced in the South-West and extreme north region of region Manyu, Logone and Chari divisions of Cameroon.

Unlike breast banding or ironing, there seems to be a religious connection in cases of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Cameroon, Africa.

The GTZ reports that all Muslim girls, two third (2/3) of Christian girls and no (0) Animists girls are subjected or affected by the practice.

Christianity (40%) and Muslim Islamic faith (40%) account for 40% each of the religious believes in Cameroon while Animist or traditional African religion accounts for 20%.

As is always the case, very few people are aware of Female genital Mutilation in Cameroon.

Regional aspects of Breast Ironing.

Breast banding & ironing affects inner city girls than village or rural area girls. For instance, according to the GTZ report 53% of girls in Douala are subjected to breast banding & ironing.

Apparently, the practice is done by well meaning loving ignorant mothers to their daughters in an attempt to protect teenage girls from rape, sexual harassment and sexual advances.

Some of the sad consequences and breast symptoms of this practice are:

Damaged breast tissue, open wounds, abscesses, infections, increased risk of breast cancer, trauma and difficulties breast feeding as a result of decrease mammary glands in the breast.

My Personal Account:

I lived in Cameroon Africa for over 20 years, in Douala, Cameroon.

We were part of a very active community and my family had four women in it.

So I was very surprised to learn of breast banding or ironing in Cameroon since i have never heard of it before.

It is reported that 53% of girls in Douala are subjected to breast ironing, yes, in my own home city.

My first reaction was outrage and anger at the report for its "inaccuracy" or mis-representation of facts.

I made quick calls to my friends and family and none knew of it. So i decided to dig deeper.

After watching a few videos, reading the GTZ reports my views changed. I had to admit my ignorance and the suffering that some Cameroon girls undergo in silence and secrecy.

By bring such to light and educating authoritative members of the community - mothers, fathers, church leaders and civil administrators can this practice be stop.

The future of any nation, especially Africa nations depends largely on the female population.

So it is in our best interest to protect them.

Have you ever heard of breast banding or ironing in Cameroon Africa? Have you or someone you know of ever been breast ironed or forced to wear a breast band? How did you feel learning about this practice being done in Cameroon, Africa?

Please share your thoughts and feelings.

By keeping everyone informed - parents health and education staff, religious and political authorities and young people can such practices and fears be properly addressed.

Use the comments below to share your thoughts and feelings including a picture or video, if possible. Thank you.

"THE DILEMMA OF MY FATHER"

April 2010

A daughters Plea Written by Bimbo Bamidele
Photo Here:Late Idowu
Late Major Daniel Idowu Bamidele , was among the officers that was executed 5th of March 1986 by the IBB regime on the suspicion of conspiracy to commit treason.

In October 1983, My father heard rumors of a planned coup against President Shehu Shagari,s government. My father immediately reported this information to his GOC (General Officer in Command) who was Brigadier Mohammed Buhari, who was ironically the master planner of the coup.
My father was arrested a week later, and detained at DMI(Directorate of Military Intelligence) and he was accused of plotting a coup against the Shagari regime. Fake witnesses were paraded to give false statements against him. While the real coup plot was going on underground with the full involvement of the same DMI group of officers that was interrogating my father.

After a month, he was released based on the fact that there was no legal basis to charge him for a "one man coup conspiracy"
I remember the day my father came back home. Our house was flooded with relatives, friends and neighbors. I could feel the tension in the air when he arrived, tears of happiness, joy and relief was pouring down from my mum’s eyes.

I remember seeing my father’s bruised back and arms due to the savage beatings he received in the detention cell, just because he wanted to be a good soldier that loved democracy and civil rule, and even if he was a military officer, he was not in support of a military regime taking over a stable civilian government.

Then on the 1st of January 1984, Brigadier Buhari (My father’s GOC that he reported the rumor of a coup) was announced as the new Head of State.
Everything now became clear to my father as to why he was arrested for reporting about a coup.
He was later transferred from jos,Plateau state to Command and Staff College Jaji, Kaduna state.

Two years after, he was arrested again for allegedly knowing about the Phantom-vatsa-coup and not reporting to his superiors.
A Special Military Tribunal was set up and my father was convicted and sentenced to death by firing squad.
I remember that day, 5th of March 1986. General Domkat Bali came on air and read out the list of names. 10 officers!!! 10 fathers!!! 10 breadwinners!!!
And he adds,” Have been Secretly Executed 1 hour earlier"

Then 14 years after, On the 22nd of May, 2006. General Domkat Bali grants an interview with THE NEWS magazine, that whatever evidence the panel had against mamman vatsa and the 9 other officers were weak, and his only regret was that he could not stop the execution from taking place.

Even when Mamman vatsa,s wife, my mother, and other widows pleaded to IBB for their husbands corpses to be released to them, it all fell on deaf ears, because IBB instructed that ACID should be poured on their bodies and they should be given a mass burial.
IBB requested that the execution process should be recorded for him.

For 24 years, I’ve lived with something in my heart!
That IBB carefully selected 10 Army Officers with the highest caliber of military professionals who had acquired expensive training from Nigeria and Abroad.
IBB was present on Mamman Vatsa,s wedding day,.....................IBB was Vatsa,s Bestman!!!

Like I said earlier on in "My Campaign Against IBB" I don’t have any issue against IBB on political grounds, But on The issue of an 11 years old girl that loved her father very much, and still misses him every other day.
24213_389479560278_514965278_3826878_4388041_n.jpg
Don’t be deceived the real name of the man is EVIL DEVIL

"My Campaign Against IBB" I don’t have any issue against IBB on political grounds, But on The issue of an 11 years old girl that loved her father very much, and still misses him every other day."

Blogers note: Since the publication of the article Ms Bamidele is coming under intense pressure to withdraw the article from the public forum. She is standing by every word written and re affirms our commitment to make her fathers story heard. For her own security I will not be publishing her photograph, however any media interest will be welcome so we can get stories such as that of Major Bamidele out in the public forum.
Kayode Ogundamisi

For the records:

"...Major Bamidele cut a forlorn figure. He found out about the plot against President Shagari and reported the issue up the chain of command to his General Officer Commanding, Maj-Gen Muhammadu Buhari. Unfortunately for, and unknown to Bamidele, Buhari was one of the conspirators. To prevent Bamidele from leaking the plot, Buhari ordered his arrest and Bamidele was detained for 2 weeks. He was not released until after the coup had been successfully executed. Once again Bamidele learned of this current coup plot. However his experience with Buhari had taught him and unforgettable lesson. This time he kept his mouth shut and did not report the plot. Nonetheless he was arrested again, this time for not reporting the plot. "

Major Bamidele's statement in mitigation was even more harrowing:... See more

"...“I heard of the 1983 coup planning, told my GOC General Buhari who detained me for two weeks in Lagos. Instead of a part on the back, I received a stab. How then do you expect me to report this one?

This trial marks the eclipse of my brilliant and unblemished career of 19 years. I fought in the civil war with the ability it pleased God to give me. If is unfortunate that I’m being convicted for something which I have had to stop on two occasions. This is not self adulation but a sincere summary of the qualities inherent in me.

It is an irony of fate that the president of the tribunal who in 1964 felt that I was good enough to take training in the U.K. is now saddled with the duty of showing me the exit from the force and the world.”"

(May his gentle soul continue to rest in Peace)

Akpabio's Secret Cult "Cabinet "

Isantim Kenneth Okon

Some names of alleged cultists masquerading as politicians in Akwa Ibom State who have been linked in politically motivated murders and kidnappings that has kept the state under siege within Governor Godswill Akpabio’s administration can now be revealed by THEWILL.

It is no longer news that residents of Akwa Ibom State have been under siege with kidnappings for ransom and politically motivated murders at its very peak, but what we have gathered lately from multiple sources in Akwa Ibom State government circles and conversations with some senior police officers in the state has revealed that solving the crimes is akin to bursting the brutal cabal in Governor Godswill Akpabio’s regime.

Governor Akpabio, a University of Calabar, Faculty of Law graduate, who knowledgeable sources have linked to being a non active member of the Buccaneer confraternity, is accused of allowing secret cultists openly serve in his administration thereby opening up a supremacy rivalry amongst cult members/groups over the control of the state’s political machinery.

The complicity of some senior ranking officers of the Nigerian Police Force, Akwa Ibom State Command in some of the crimes, notably in the murder of the Ekpenyong brothers; Mathias Okon Ekpenyong (Mbota), and his eldest brother, Engineer Emmanuel Okon Ekpenyong alias Submarine, is however very disturbing.

In THEWILL’s extensive month-long investigation and planned serialized publication of all we have learned so far, we reveal the identities of some of the alleged cultists in Apkabio’s administration.

They are as follows;

tobechi_onwuhara.top.jpg?width=475Tobechi Onwuhara (right) at a Dallas nightclub with Ezenwa Onyedebelu.   12166298677?profile=original

FORTUNE -- A luxury suite at the W Hotel in Dallas is as good a place as any to conquer the world. At least it seemed that way in 2007 when Tobechi Onwuhara got the crew together. They'd meet there often, seven or eight of them. Some had nicknames from the Ian Fleming lexicon: C, Q, and E. Others were called Mookie, Orji, Uche. They would spread out on designer sofas and at the wet bar, open three-ring binders, and fire up laptops with hard-to-trace wireless cards. On a nearby table there'd be prepaid cellphones with area codes taped to them. A phone for Southern California. A phone for Northern Virginia. A phone for any place Onwuhara had found the "good money.".

In those days, the good money wasn't hard to find. The housing boom had flooded the country with capital. Lenders were making promiscuous loans to unsophisticated borrowers.

It was an ideal environment for Onwuhara, 27, a brilliant, pug-faced visionary who favored True Religion jeans and Ed Hardy shirts. Looking out over the neon skyline of downtown Dallas, it was easy for the crew to believe his assurances: He'd make them rich. When the sun glinted off one of his $100,000 diamond-encrusted Audemars Piguet watches, who could doubt it? Every few months he would buy a new Maserati or Bentley. He owned expensive properties in Miami, Dallas, and Phoenix. He even had a secret love condo in the W, where scantily clad women visited in such numbers that one bellhop became convinced that the first-generation Nigerian-American was a porn director.

The truth was very different. In his ancestral homeland, Onwuhara might have been a chief. In America he became one of the world's most successful cyberscammers, a criminal genius who used his talents to filet a poorly regulated banking and credit system. In less than three years Onwuhara stole a confirmed $44 million, according to the FBI, which believes the total may be anywhere from $80 million to $100 million. All he needed was an Internet connection and a cellphone.

Onwuhara called it "washing." He'd set up a boiler room in a fancy hotel (the Waldorf-Astoria was another favorite) to wash information on wealthy victims. Then he'd wash bank accounts. One group in his crew would do online research using databases and websites to harvest names, dates of birth, and mortgage information. They'd build profiles of victims for a second group, who would call banks posing as account holders. The callers cadged security information and passwords. Then Onwuhara would breach the accounts and wire funds from them to a network of money mules he had established in Asia. The money would be laundered and wired back to his accounts in the U.S.

"I call it modern-day bank robbery," says FBI special agent Michael Nail. "You can sit at home in your PJs and slippers with a laptop, and you can actually rob a bank."

Onwuhara specialized in hitting home equity lines of credit (HELOCs), the reservoirs of cash that banks make available to homeowners. Once Onwuhara gained access to a HELOC, he could siphon out vast sums in seconds. His weapon was persuasion. It got him enough money to start building a colonnaded fortress in Nigeria; enough to gamble at the high-stakes tables in Vegas casinos all night. Even his accomplices appear not to have known how much he was really pulling down -- not even his beautiful fiancée, Precious Matthews.

"He was playing all of us," says Paula Gipson, a member of the crew. "The banks, us, Precious, everybody."

Conversations with Gipson and other Onwuhara associates, interviews with his family and with investigators, and hundreds of pages of court documents reveal a digital scavenger of extraordinary creativity and guile. Onwuhara orchestrated his swindles using information about homeowners that is widely available online. In fragments, this information is innocuous. When assembled properly, it can be used like an electronic skeleton key to get into almost any credit account. Onwuhara needed only a few short years to rack up an illicit fortune. And he's still at large.

The son of an entrepreneur

The state of Abia in Nigeria stretches from the plains in the north to the riverine flats in the south and resembles, on a map, a giraffe's head. It is a swath of farmland filled with yam fields, cashew orchards, and the sorrowful memories of the Igbo people. The Igbo are Christian, but they jokingly call themselves "black Jews" because so many leave home to establish themselves in business. Abia is their heartland. In the late 1960s it was part of Biafra, a secessionist state with the misfortune of sitting atop vast oil deposits. When the Nigerian civil war erupted, more than a million Biafrans were killed or starved to death. Onwuhara's parents survived.

His father, Doris, was an entrepreneur, one of the first people in Nigeria to import satellite TVs. He built the first major hotel in Abia's capital, Umuahia. Visitors came from miles away to dance in the hotel's nightclub. As Umuahia expanded and land values appreciated, so did Doris's influence. He moved into politics, held office, and managed a successful campaign for a governor of Abia.

Onwuhara's mother, Katherine, was equally accomplished. A lawyer and literary critic, she served as chairwoman of Abia's board of education. The four daughters she had with Doris would go on to be nurses and ministers. But her fifth child, her only son, would be different. He would be American. Katherine was five months pregnant with Tobechi when she left Nigeria to attend school in Houston. "Tobe" was born there in 1979.

Katherine returned to Nigeria when Tobe was still a boy, leaving him with an uncle in Houston. She thought the tight-knit diaspora would look after him. But once Tobe reached his teenage years he started skipping school and getting into trouble. The family shipped him back to Nigeria at age 15 and enrolled him in a boarding school run by the Marist Brothers, a Catholic order known for educational discipline. Onwuhara graduated and enrolled in medical school at Abia State University. He was by all accounts an exceptionally clever, shy boy who spoke infrequently but eloquently. He longed to return to the U.S.

In 1999, Onwuhara moved back to Texas. He rented an apartment in Dallas and took classes at Brookhaven College. He found a job as a loan officer at Capital One (COF, Fortune 500). He learned how banks worked from the inside, studying documents and procedures. (Capital One declines to discuss Onwuhara.) Then he turned to crime. With the help of a friend who had connections at Discover Financial Services (DFS, Fortune 500), Onwuhara cooked up driver's licenses and credit cards under the names of real customers, according to court documents. He bought electronics at CompUSA. He hit up restaurants and clubs. That was how he met Precious Matthews, a pretty Baylor student majoring in speech communication. Matthews worked as a waitress; Onwuhara was a regular, flirtatious customer. When Precious warned him the establishment was suspicious of his transactions, Onwuhara was smitten. The two started dating and were soon engaged.

In 2002, Onwuhara was arrested three times in Texas for credit card fraud. The police raided his apartment and found incriminating evidence. Onwuhara had mastered some techniques of identity theft and stolen more than $100,000 with an accomplice, according to a statement he gave to the authorities, but he was still a fledgling criminal making silly mistakes. Chief among them was going into a store or a bank in person to commit fraud. He would learn later to distance himself from a crime and leave few traces of his involvement. But not yet.

When the heat in Texas got too great, Onwuhara left for Seattle to meet Abel Nnabue, a Nigerian friend known as "Q." On Dec. 12, 2002, the two men drove to a bank in Lynwood, Wash., their wallets packed with fake IDs and unauthorized credit cards. Nnabue waited in their gold Plymouth Neon rental car while Onwuhara entered the bank to try for a $5,000 cash advance. When the bank called the police, Onwuhara bolted outside and into the Neon, just as a cruiser arrived. Nnabue sped away on wet streets, gunning the Neon through stop signs. Two more cop cars joined the chase; Onwuhara threw his wallet out the window. The police cornered the men in the parking lot of a Korean church. Onwuhara fled on foot, and a K-9 unit found him hiding in a pond. In May 2003 he was sentenced to 12 months in prison.

"I'm deeply and sincerely sorry," he told a federal judge. "You'll never again see me in any kind of trouble with the law or hear anything negative about me from this day forward."

By the time Onwuhara got out of prison, the housing market was bubbling.

"He made it thunderstorm."

The Dallas Gentlemen's Club is one of Texas's bawdiest fleshpots, a highway-side warehouse of grinding booty and slack-jawed marks. The club attracts big spenders -- athletes, rap stars -- but Onwuhara made them look like flunkies. When he walked in, the strippers would beeline for him, their cellphones lighting up as they called their off-duty friends: "Get over here! T just showed up!" They knew what to expect -- $650 bottles of Cristal, $2,000 stacks of ones for his entourage, $50,000 in a briefcase he'd empty out. During a single song, he'd drop so much money the girls needed two more songs to scoop all the bills off the floor. He'd repeat this performance several times a week.

"He didn't just make it rain," one dancer would later tell the authorities. "He made it thunderstorm."

At the end of the night, Onwuhara liked to idle outside the club in his $300,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom waiting for the girls to exit, according to interviews with FBI investigators. When he saw one he liked, he'd simply point. She was coming back to the W. If women were his weakness, strippers were his vice. But Precious would eventually find out. Still engaged, she and Onwuhara had moved in together.

The studious, soft-spoken Tobe had disappeared. Onwuhara, now known as "T," was the owner of S.W.A.T. Up Entertainment, a rap label; a deluxe apartment in Dallas and a mansion in Miramar, Fla.; and a diamond chain the size of a tow rope that he wore around his neck. Dangling at the end of the chain was a grinning mini-T clutching sacks of money like a cartoon bank robber, which is what Onwuhara increasingly resembled.

In hindsight, it seems obvious that a savvy cybercriminal would target HELOCs. From 1998 to 2007, the percentage of homeowners with HELOCs jumped from 10.6% to 18.4%. Credit balances soared. All the information a scammer needed was available online. The trick was cobbling it together. Onwuhara taught himself how.

Using ListSource, a direct-marketing company, he'd collect mortgage information on married couples with million-dollar homes. They qualified for high HELOCs. He'd find lease or loan papers through public databases and pay sites, then use Photoshop to grab homeowners' signatures off documents. Next, he'd build a profile of the victim by paying for a background search through skip-tracing sites. That would give him birth dates, Social Security numbers, names of relatives, previous addresses, employment histories, and more. To get a mother's maiden name he would use Ancestry.com.

12166298694?profile=original

Profile in hand, he would run a credit check on victims through annualcreditreport.com, a website set up by the big three credit-reporting agencies. Onwuhara had discovered a flaw in the Experian portion of the site, which screened users with a personalized security question and several multiple-choice answers. Users had to click on the correct answer to proceed. But when Onwuhara refreshed his browser, he found that the site replaced certain answers with new ones. Clearly, these were red herrings. Onwuhara knew the correct answer to the security question would appear persistently on screen as he refreshed. Enough refreshing would eventually reveal the true answer and allow Onwuhara to access reports. (A spokesman for Experian says that the company is cooperating with law enforcement authorities and that "since this case we have refined our security protocol.") The reports provided Onwuhara with details about the victim's HELOC. He preferred credit union HELOCs: They were soft targets.

At this point artistry came into play. Onwuhara used a phone service called SpoofCard to make any number he wanted appear in a caller ID. This was key to his scam. With SpoofCard, Onwuhara could fool financial institutions into thinking his call originated from the victim's phone. Onwuhara knew the system. He knew the questions he'd get. Usually he had the answers, along with account numbers, balances, and passwords. Altering his gravelly voice like a professional actor, he could switch ethnicity, age, and accent on a whim. A customer service rep was easy prey.

Once in, Onwuhara would wire HELOC money out of the country. Financial institutions faxed wire transfer requests to his e-fax account, which converted faxes to e-mails. After attaching Photoshopped signatures and phony headers, he would send the forms back. The money would be wired to banks in Asia where mules that Onwuhara had recruited would withdraw the money, take a cut, and redeposit the funds into other accounts or with hawalas, informal money brokers who ask few questions.

Finally, the money would be wired back to the U.S. into accounts Onwuhara controlled. At one point he received a 40-million-euro transfer. He would further launder the money by depositing it in casinos and cashing out in checks days later. He would also buy ultra-expensive luxury cars, drive them for a few months, then ship them to Nigeria, where they would be resold at a steep markup. Onwuhara was clearing about $7 million every two weeks, according to the FBI.

The mastermind shared few details of the scam, even with his inner circle. Precious Matthews and Paula Gipson knew the most, mainly because Onwuhara couldn't impersonate women on the phone. He needed them to pose as female account holders and had to give them more information. Nnabue gathered mortgage information and loan documents. Ezenwa ("E") Onyedebelu, a promising young student from Dallas whom Onwuhara had tapped as his protégé, laundered money. Henry Obilo, a hulking pre-med student who doubled as Onwuhara's bodyguard, specialized in Bank of America (BAC, Fortune 500) information.

Onwuhara doled out profits according to a person's role. Callers received more than researchers, and members of the crew competed to work the phones. If they weren't slick enough, Onwuhara bumped them back to online scutwork. All the money, all the information, ran through him. He never stored sensitive data on his computer, keeping it instead on a flash drive he could easily destroy. But no matter the precautions he took to cover his tracks, something was bound to go awry. Sometimes you just hit the wrong man.

The net tightens

On Dec. 8, 2007, Robert "Duke" Short sat down in front of his PC. It was around 10 a.m., a few hours before Short was to take his wife to their regular weekend lunch near their home in Alexandria, Va. Short wanted to check his accounts at the U.S. Senate Federal Credit Union. A former U.S. Treasury agent, Short arrived in D.C. from South Carolina as the Treasury Department's national chief of investigations. He got into politics and became Strom Thurmond's chief of staff. He spent 30 years on Capitol Hill. He was, in other words, the wrong man to hit.

That morning, Short couldn't log into his account. His password had been changed, and the credit union was closed. Short called in on Monday. When he accessed his account, he saw that $280,000 was missing, most of it from his high-limit HELOC account.

"They said this money was transferred to Korea," he recalls. "They said, 'Are you sure you didn't do that?' I said, 'Listen, if that amount of money was transferred to Korea, I would know.'"

The credit union would protect Short from any losses -- in fact, almost all of Onwuhara's victims eventually had their monetary losses covered by their financial institutions, although they still had to cope with the shock of identity theft and ruined credit ratings.

Short called the Alexandria police department, the Secret Service, and the FBI. Within days an investigation was underway.

The investigators' first clue came from the IP addresses used to log in to Short's account. The FBI determined that someone had called the credit union to reset Short's password, sounding like an older white man. The caller claimed that the auto login to his account had vanished after his son had set up a new computer for him. He was convincing. But after the password was reset, the caller logged in to Short's account while still on the phone. The FBI now had a precise IP address to track. It belonged to a Verizon Wireless Internet card registered to a fictitious name and a real address in Miramar, Fla., just a few doors down from Onwuhara's mansion, a fact the FBI would discover later.

Onwuhara bought wireless Internet service with prepaid debit cards, making him virtually untraceable. But he still had to go to a Verizon store to make purchases. Two deposits had been made to the Verizon account tied to the Short crime. Both occurred in Plano, Texas. When investigators pulled security video from the store, they saw three men at a kiosk. One was wearing an Ed Hardy hoodie covered in rhinestone skulls. Investigators began looking for names.

They knew their thief had intercepted a call from the credit union to Short to confirm the wire transfer. Onwuhara had duped Short's phone company into remotely forwarding calls to Onwuhara's cell, a tactic he used often. But it backfired when investigators obtained a list of phones to which customers' home numbers were being forwarded. On the list, they found numerous prepaid phone numbers. Calls were being made from these numbers to banks across the country and to 1-800 numbers belonging to SpoofCard. These were the scammers' virtual fingerprints.

An FBI search warrant produced 1,500 recorded calls connected to the suspicious SpoofCard accounts. (SpoofCard says that it doesn't routinely record calls made over its system, but that callers may opt to do so.) The tapes were a jackpot for investigators. "There were so many different voices," says FBI special agent Hadley Etienne. "They all knew what to say. They all had it down."

For months investigators listened to the tapes, hoping for a break. "You know how it is when you're reading a good book and you're just reading and reading and reading," says Michael Nail, the lead FBI investigator. "It was like that. I was at home one weekend listening to calls. And this one call came up."

In it, Onwuhara does a pitch-perfect impersonation of a middle-aged white doctor calling in a prescription to a CVS (CVS, Fortune 500) pharmacy. The prescription was for Valtrex, a herpes medication. The patient was Tobe Onwuhara. At last, investigators had a name. They pulled a Texas DMV photo of Onwuhara. It matched the image of the man in the hoodie from the Verizon video. Their quarry was in reach, but they needed more evidence.

In April 2008, agents detained Onwuhara, Nnabue, Matthews, and Obilo at J.F.K. International Airport in New York. The group was flying home after a vacation in Nigeria. They had stayed at the Ritz in London during their stopover. Onwuhara had even brought his diamond chain. Investigators told the scammers they were being stopped as part of a routine travel check. Their real purpose was to confirm the voices and nicknames they'd heard on the tapes and the phone numbers used in the calls. Now they would begin to monitor Onwuhara's phone and station cars in the street outside his Miramar mansion to conduct surveillance.

The crew starts to unravel

If the airport stop rattled Onwuhara, he didn't show it. He still ate fish and rice at Pappadeaux's in Dallas. He still threw parties at the chic Ghost Bar on the roof of the W. But nerves were fraying within his crew, according to Paula Gipson. Nnabue complained about his pay. Gipson agonized over her crimes yet justified them by saying she was only hurting the banks. Matthews spiraled into a depression. She enjoyed the finer things Onwuhara provided her -- shopping sprees at high-end stores, weekends in the best hotels, a house with a new pool -- but their relationship had grown combustible. She and Onwuhara fought. After one argument he stormed through the Miramar house and smashed the screens of the plasma TVs.

It was around this time that Onwuhara grew suspicious that law enforcement might be on to him. FBI agents had placed both a pen register and a trap-and-trace device on his phone, which let them record all outgoing and incoming numbers. Onwuhara somehow found out. When he called Cingular/AT&T (T, Fortune 500), his cellphone carrier, the company "accidentally" revealed the name and number of the FBI technician tracking him, according to an FBI affidavit in support of a criminal complaint. But people who know Onwuhara don't think it was an accident.

"He has a way of getting people to tell him everything," Gipson says.

On July 30, 2008, he destroyed his cell and switched to another phone the FBI wasn't monitoring.

The FBI didn't know where he'd gone. Was he making an escape? Emergency arrest warrants were obtained. Two days later, on a perfect South Florida night, the agents watching Onwuhara's house noticed a commotion. Matthews ran outside, followed by a familiar-looking man. Matthews sped away in her Acura. The man followed in a black BMW X6 registered to Onwuhara. The agents gave chase as the cars rocketed down the highway at more than 100 mph.

"I got some calls," Nail says. "They were like, 'Hey, they're speeding. Should we stop them now?'"

Nail consulted Etienne and the assistant U.S. attorney on the case. They decided to make the arrest. The agents on the ground followed the speeding cars to the Hard Rock Casino in Fort Lauderdale. The Acura and the BMW screeched to a halt at the curb in front of the casino. The drivers rushed inside, where local police detained them. The man from the BMW wasn't Onwuhara but rather his protégé, Ezenwa Onyedebelu. In the seconds before the FBI arrived with handcuffs to make the arrest, Matthews whipped out her cellphone and fired off a text: "Leave now. They got us."

Somewhere inside the Hard Rock, maybe at one of his beloved craps tables, one of the greatest cyberscammers in history looked up from his phone, calmly headed for a back door, and hailed a cab. Then he melted into the night. He hasn't been seen since.

Floating between worlds

"I was taught by my dad not to be a follower," Onwuhara once said.

He is following his own treacherous path now, one that few have charted. A most-wanted fugitive, he has a $25,000 bounty on his head.

Almost all of Onwuhara's co-conspirators were indicted and pleaded guilty. Precious Matthews was sentenced to 51 months in prison. Daniel "Orji" Orjinta got 42 months. Abel Nnabue had his sentence reduced to 27 months after cooperating with prosecutors. Paula Gipson and Ezenwa Onyedebelu helped prosecutors and had their sentences reduced to 15 months and 14 months, respectively. Only Henry Obilo pleaded not guilty. He was sentenced to 88 months in prison.

As for Onwuhara, the FBI claims to have no clue where he is. One accomplice swears he's still in America. Maybe he's floating between worlds in cyberspace, probing for new cracks in new systems. "The boy is an enigma," says one of his sisters. "What can I tell you?

Prostitution. It is one of the oldest professions and the practitioners can hardly own up or tell the real reasons they are into it. However, OJO MADUEKWE tries to find out why some ladies who go into prostitution sometimes remain prostitutes

Ask them why they do what they do, and the answer is the same; and just as they, readily available, "there is no job and man must eat. Or what do you think" Both prostitutes and their sympathisers, hurriedly and constantly cite unemployment and poverty as reasons why the female child gets into prostitution.

Making it sound like all prostitutes are poor and all poor are prostitutes waiting to happen. Counting both years and a bank account huge enough to show for 'back-work' and start a petty trade, it seems like poverty is not just the only reason a lady takes to prostitution as a profession.

Going through various definitions of prostitution, like the one found in Wikipedia's site that describes it as "the act or practice of providing sexual services to another person in return for payment" the two main and constant features you will come to observe are money and sex. Money either because people are poor (which like was stated above is the most common excuse) or just love for free money to lust after and sex for the love of it, as testified by some prostitutes.

"I love sex and have been in the business for four years. I make hundreds of naira in one night and enjoy rounds of sex. I can't seem to break away; it's like a bad drug habit. I want to stop and live a normal life but the sex and money always draw me back." Linda has passed from the stage where money is no more a concern for her because right now she can boast of a good account, because she's been able to save, but then like she said, the sex and greed for more money always makes her want to continue.

This is not to rule out the fact that the twin of poverty and unemployment are major causes. With the majority of the world's country living from foreign aid, countries from mostly the African continent and Southern America are known to have high rate of prostitutes. Based on moral, health or religious grounds like in most Islamic nations, the legal status of prostitution varies from country to country, from being a punishable crime to a regulated profession. But with the annual revenue generation from the global prostitution industry estimated to be over $100 billion, it is not surprising when some countries make it a legal trade.

Marian's own reason for going into prostitution was more on the 'sex side'; she loved sex a lot and couldn't seem to get enough of it from her boyfriend who had a regular job as a factory worker. "Apart from the money, I enjoy sex so much. I have a boyfriend, John, but he comes back from work and most times is not able to satisfy me...

"I became a prostitute at age 11. It was my choice, it was my ambition and it is my career. I enjoy what I do I will not lie. I do not feel exploited at all. I do not hide who I am or what I do, my friends all accept this is who I am and are cool with it. Anyone who isn't can move on down the road," she said.

Because of the assumptions of the society as to the true reasons some ladies engage in prostitution, narrowing it down to money, necessitated by poverty, it is now constant to have people come up to offer one succour or the other. The promises have now taken the form of a cliché, with everybody touting one solution to another, claiming that if only there can be jobs for the prostitutes (this is minus the teeming number of other class of jobless people like armed robbers, unemployed graduates); if only the people can stop living under the one dollar a day situation, the oldest career in the world will be pronounced dead and buried for the good of all forever.

Good thought though, but like it is a thought, could only be imagined. Why do you think it's called the oldest profession in the world? Because solutions like the ones we are having today have been the same ones since the time of Solomon, Sodom and Gomorrah yet there have been no serious record to scrap the job. Even in places where the law seem to be strict; where you have both spiritual and political rules guiding their conduct, prostitution still strive there a lot.

Like in Kaduna, where a group of prostitutes operating in a region called Obalande in the state, last year November 1 to December 31, 2009 had a two months sex freebie for their customers. Obalande, which has been addressed as Sodom and Gomorra in Kaduna State originated in 1980s, the region operates from 7pm to 4am featuring high-class prostitutes along with different kinds of assorted bars in every nook and cranny.

The group head, nicknamed 'Presido' as reported by Victor Ulasi, writing for Article Base, an online magazine, said "Nigerian economy is getting worse on a daily basis and the government does not give a shit about the situation. This is what we do to survive; this is where we make our daily bread. Also am proud of my job, and to keep the business going on there is the need to step up the price with a bonanza to please the customers," the Presido was quoted as saying. Like sellers of products, prostitutes want to start giving out bonanza and then to protect themselves, form an association that can table their case before relevant authorities.

She categorically stated to love what she does to the point of thinking of giving bonanza to clients, in a way to boost clients craving for more. Such a person would obviously mock peoples pledge to assist her. People like Navy Captain Caleb Olubolade, who said "I will just urge them to do something else and assist them as much as possible so that they can lead a happier life" when she and her co-prostitutes, in a way of protecting themselves from security agencies harassments and exploitation, have decided to register an association.

That's with a capital IF, because before he might think of popping the champagne, he needs to hear this. "The sex bonanza should have started before now but the police constant patrol in the region could not allow us to hold the rarely, but that will soon come to an end. We want to form a union which will be known as Nigerian Association of Prostitutes because the same people who arrest us are the same people who patronise us."

It is this kind of statement by Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT); Navy Captain Caleb Olubolade (Rtd) that makes them appear like people who are in dire need of assistance. He goes on to say that he will just urge them to do something else and also assist them as much as possible so that they can lead a better and happier life. Its like telling the touts who for just chasing after bus drivers make an average of five thousand naira a day to quit their very lucrative job, bagged a degree after years of waiting for JAMB and strikes in school to go and work for a bank at fifty thousand as a front desk officer. How is this possible, of "urging them to do something else" after they have had a feel of what good money taste like.

Statements like this, made from assumptions are the ones that assume ladies take onto prostitution solely because they are poor and in need to eke out a living. Fine, we can choose to help the prostitutes collaborate their excuses of poverty as to why they went into it in the first place. But then you'd think that after a while, when they must have made a substantial amount of start-up capital that they will resign and live a normal life.

How many of them get to resign is the question to ask. As we can see above, the story of Linda and Marian means that the love of money and not the lack thereof is the strong reason behind their entering into the trade in the first instance.

Who says prostitutes are not busy people; who say they do not have an option of other means of living? A look at 'Presido' can tell you that although she may be a prostitute, she is not a dunce. As you can read, she likes her job. A shift of perspective to discover the exact reasons that people enter into the act of prostitution instead of assuming for them is the basic step the authorities must take if they are really serious about limiting prostitution to its barest minimal.

After Strip tease by Fashola was banned are there no strip clubs in Naija ?
The New FCT Minister has given a 24hours ultimatum for all love-peddlers
to evacuate Abuja. These Nigerian politicians never cease to amaze me. I was just wondering when i heard the news and the following questions came to my mind,Photo 1:Prostitutes in large numbers have taken over some popular streets in the Federal Capital Territory at night. At Port Harcourt crescent off Gimbiya street, Garki, Abuja, our reporter observed half nude ladies exposing their busts and panties, beckoning on..

Photos 2,3:Previous and present Minister with
President Goodluck Jonathan (second right) being received by the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, with the National Security Adviser, Alhaji Aliyu Gusau (second left) and Secretary to the Government of t
Worried by the sharp increase in their activities, sex workers in the Federal Capital Territory have been given a 48-hour ultimatum by the FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, to leave the nation's capital or face the wrath of the law.
The minister, who decried the steady rise in the population of prostitutes in Abuja, noted that they constitute a nuisance as their services add no value to the beauty of the city.

He gave them a stern warning to heed the ultimatum, noting that the FCT Special Task Force would be out as from today to arrest them.
The minister, who issued the ultimatum through the FCT Secretary for Social Development, Mrs. Blessing Onuh, while on a visit to the call girls at their respective joints on Saturday night, also warned men who patronise the girls to desist from the act as he promised that anyone caught would be treated like the prostitutes.
He said that to drive home the importance of the assignment to the FCT, the Task Force would commence arrest from today and warned the prostitutes not to take the matter lightly.

At Emprest Hotel, "which is the headquarters" of the commercial sex workers in Wuse District, where over 600 call girls were seen parading the streets waiting for prospective customers, the secretary lamented that most of the girls involved were under-aged.
In her message to the girls she said, "I'm out to instruct the girls that the FCT minister has given them 48 hours to vacate the city and quit the job. They constitute a nuisance in the city and the FCT administration will not tolerate them.
"We are also sending warnings to all those men patronising them to stop. Some of the girls are under-aged; it is child abuse. If we get you doing that we will get you arrested, lock you up and treat you like the prostitutes are treated."
A patron of the call girls who spoke to reporters under condition of anonymity gave reason why he patronised call girls, saying it was due to the weather which made it difficult for him to spend the night alone.
The man argued that the ultimatum given to the girls would lead to an increase in the charges of the girls who presently charge between N5,000 and N7,000 per night.
He said, "This decision now will make them to increase their price. Normally we take them home for N6,000 or N7,000 but now with this decision, they will increase it to N15,000 or more than that."

The secretary, after addressing the girls at Wuse Zone 4, made a donation of N50,000 to the girls after they complained to her that they had not eaten all day and she advised them to desist from selling their bodies for money but try to go into a more decent occupation.
At the hotel, one of the girls who refused to give her name disclosed that she relocated to Abuja when the governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola, demolished her apartment in Lagos. She however expressed her readiness to quit the job if given an alternative, lamenting that Emprest Hotel is like a sex camp where two prostitutes pair up in a room and pay N5,000 each daily while those who have more patronage take up a single room and pay N7,000 daily.
Other places visited by the secretary where activities of sex workers thrive included Banex Plaza, Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse 2, Rockview Hotel, Gimbiya Street, Area 11 and Agura Hotel.

2009 Report:

Prostitutes in large numbers have taken over some popular streets in the Federal Capital Territory at night. At Port Harcourt crescent off Gimbiya street, Garki, Abuja, our reporter observed half nude ladies exposing their busts and panties, beckoning on motorists to pick them for the night.
The situation was somehow similar at Sheraton hotel junction where young ladies lined up right from the entrance of the junction to a shopping plaza along the street.

On the roads leading to Transcorp Hotel and close to UBA at Wuse 11, ladies soliciting for men were also seen by the roadsides.
Married women were seen complaining about the freedom given to these ladies to expose themselves on the streets and one of them even pointed to a police patrol car parked at the entrance of Gimbiya street.
"Such women breed criminals in any area and the police should clamp down on them immediately," a married woman said.
At the FCT Police Command, a police officer said prostitution is prohibited in Abuja.
"We have clamped down on them on several instances and even charged them to court where they pleaded guilty and were convicted," the police officer stated.

Questions regarding Prostitution Banned In Abuja
Photo:Prostitutes /strip club girls caught in lagos

1. Are love-peddlers the problem of Nigeria today?
2.How do differentiate who is a love-peddler and who is not (not talking about those residing permanently in brothels) that is with the outrageuos dress sense of ladies these days?
3.Are the politicians not the highest patronisers of love-peddlers?
4.What about the corporate love-peddlers?
5.With the number of night clubs, so how do differentiate between genuine fun seeking ladies and also love-peddlers?
6.What about the men that patronise them?
7.Why do our goverments keep chasing shadows, even those have very well paid jobs still do all sought how much more those who are broke and being forced into it due to circumstance.
I could go on and on, but my take is that maybe the new FCT minister was recently jilted by a love-peddlers hence this payback.lol

But on a serious note WHO IS A PROSTITUTE ? A search for nigerian prostitutes on google brought up the photo below and interestingly these ladies are "NOT" prostitutes but party goers at a recent function .So WHO IS A PROSTITUTE ?

12166334281?profile=originalThis happened in his House Hold of God Church just two days ago...during his sermon on Sunday August 12th. According to some members of his church that attended the service that Sunday morning, pastor Chris Okotie threw caution into the wind and verbally attacked his estranged wife, Stephanie Henshaw, comparing her to Jezebel in the bible and saying that he was free to judge her because of what he suffered in her hands. (He didn't say what). He was also quoted as saying that Stephanie was free to go to CNN or BBC to talk about him but he will never take her back.

Those who listened to him said he sounded so bitter and had never spoken about her like that before.

Pastor Chris has also taken back the two expensive cars he gave Stephanie during their four year marriage; a Benz S Class and a BMW X6.

Wande Coal in nude picture scandal

On Thursday, Mo Hits star, Wande Coal, real name, Ojosipe Wande, became the hottest trending topic on social networking site, Twitter, when pictures alleged to be his nude shots, surfaced on the Internet.

Though this has attracted various comments from fans and the public alike, some of his colleagues have risen to his defence.

Mo Hits producer, Don Jazzy, tweeted “Kaiiiiiiii my boy is trending sha. Oya make somebody photoshop my own too o. Maybe I go trend too. Lol.”

Dele Momodu, Ovation publisher and 2011 presidential aspirant, also tweeted “@delemomodu2011: As the enemies tried to pull down great son of Nigeria @wande coal today. I urge all my good friends to pls tweet something great about Wande.”

Similarly, a few months back, a picture alleged to be that of fellow Mo Hit artiste DBanj and Wande Coal smoking marijuana in a bus surfaced on the Internet..

However, in a reaction to the issue, Mo Hits publicists, Big Sam Media, have risen in defence of Wande Coal. In a statement titled, Somebody is After Wande Coal, the artiste’s publicists say, “It has come to our notice that a purported nude picture of Wande Coal is being circulated on social networking site, Twitter, and that made him a trending topic yesterday and early hours of today.

“Wande is very grateful to those who have shown him love and as well to those who were constructive in their criticisms. He is saying a massive thank you.

Nothing to be ashamed of

“We also want to state categorically that there is nothing wrong or to be ashamed (of) about being naked but the pictures in question are not those of Wande Coal, the multiple Hip Hop World Award winner. That is not him and that can never be him.”

Big Sam media claimed that Wande Coal has been a target of “orchestrated attacks in past months”, citing a report that claimed that the artiste was being treated in psychiatric home.

“We have reason to believe that the person behind these nude pictures is the same person behind earlier negative and false stories. Therefore, we are no longer taking the matter lightly. Appropriate security agencies have been briefed and investigations are on-going so as to ascertain (the) true identity of the culprit and bring him or her to book.

Wande Coal started out as a soundtrack artiste for Mainframe Production. He was also a onetime dancer for Angelica, Boulevard, and Asa. He, however, got his big break after a chance meeting with the Mo Hits Family after a performance at the University of Lagos in 2006. He was signed on by Mo Hits records almost immediately, and released his debut album, Mushin to Mo' Hits.

12166239484?profile=originalQuestions questions , Has Bianca’s so called fiancé moved into Ojukwu’s home ?
“Being Ikemba’s wife is a job on its own. These are issues that are being constantly discussed. Right now my prerogative is my husband and my family. I have a very young family. I don’t want a situation that would have my attention divided. I would like to help determine the path that my children would take. I would like to be instrumental to raising and shaping their lives. I am not saying that I cannot do that and serve the people at the same time. These were offers that were made even before the elections but I just do not feel that the time was ripe for it” – stated an elated Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, the latest and youngest wife of Ezigbo gburugburu, the Ikemba of Nnewi, Chief Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in an interview with Alvan Ewuzie of Sun Newspapers – in response to the question “I understand that one or two political offers had come your way. You don’t want them or you just prefer being Ikemba’s wife?”-A disheartening crisis appears wickedly at the doorsteps of the number one citizen and contemporary hero of the modern Igbo society. For the family of the strongman and legend of Igbo land, Chief Odimegwu Ojukwu, a source confides, life appears brighter on the outside than it really is on the inside. Authoritative information available to gossip news confirms that the king of modern Igbo politics and the modern Igbo project, who has been on Intensive Care Unit [ICU] since February 8, 2011, may be on the last lap of his journey on Earth. His present health condition has continued to worsen near a point of no return.
His youngest and latest wife, Bianca Ojukwu’s sudden leap into the national political theater amidst her husband’s failing health has raised eyebrows among core Igbo traditionalists and has served symptomatic of what the marital relationship between the two may have dwindled to. Traditionalists who are of the belief that a wife of a dying man should be by the side of the husband to tend to him believe also that Bianca Ojukwu has erred in her abandonment of the Igbo legend.
Bianca’s quick action to pack her new fiancé, Honorable Commissioner Robert Okonkwo, into her marital home in Enugu has unsettled many within the Ojukwu family.

Robert Okonkwo is a 37year old blood relative to Odimegwu Ojukwu who serves under the Peter Obi administration as the commissioner for special duties and transport – a post previously held by Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu [Jr]. Robert Okonkwo was Bianca Ojukwu’s choice for the post after Ojukwu [Jr] resigned. Robert Okonkwo presently commutes to work from Ojukwu’s home in Enugu. Knowledgeable folks who could no longer remain mute tell gossip news that Bianca Ojukwu’s actions are not without reason.

They say she has questions to answer. 12166306454?profile=original
On February 9, 2011, Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu signed her offer letter for the position of Special Advisor to the President on Diaspora Affairs following hotly contested debate within the Ojukwu nuclei family over whether to accept the offer by President Goodluck Jonathan. Family members tell gossip news that Ezigbo gburugburu, Chief Ojukwu did not assent to the offer when it was made by the President personally at the home of Ezigbo at Enugu, the capital of Enugu State.
The President [Jonathan] had paid a personal visit to Ezigbo prior to the onset of his health crisis during the period leading up to the presidential primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP]. The purpose of the visit was to intimate Ezigbo of his desire to employ his wife as a Minister to replace the vacant slot left by the exit of Prof Dora Nkem Akunyili at the post of Minister of Information and Communication. Ezigbo was said to have received the President well but rejected the idea of offering his wife a ministerial job. Ezigbo, who did not support the idea, found it a bit denigrating to have his wife serve the President. Ezeigbo noted that it would not serve the Igbo interest well. He also did not want his wife’s servitude to cage him and his utterances. Ezigbo made his concerns clear to the President. Bianca being unhappy continued her lobbying of the Presidency for the post.
The President’s men backed off the idea but the incident of December 1st 2010 at the Ojukwu home changed everything for the Presidency, for Bianca and for Ndigbo.
The early morning of December 1st 2010 greeted Ezigbo with a stroke.
Ezigbo gburugburu was struck by a massive stroke. At home at the time of the incident were Bianca, her new lover [Mr. Robert Okonkwo] and some housekeepers. Reacting, Bianca called on two of her personal medical Doctors [names withheld] to come to the house to attend to Ezigbo. Both medical doctors arrived almost immediately to the house and began administering treatment to Ezigbo. Ezigbo was not taken to the hospital.

While the medical duo administered treatment, Bianca who was with her lover, Mr. Okonkwo did not inform the immediate relatives of Ezigbo – of Ezigbo’s deteriorated condition. The immediate family did not become aware till December 6, 2010 – 5 days after Ezigbo was struck. And when the family became aware, they immediately raised an alarm over the choice of Doctor – citing that the same Doctor had treated one of Ezigbo’s cousins – resulting to a wrongful death and litigation between the Ojukwu family and the Doctor. They also raised alarm over the “home treatment” being administered. In their take, a stroke victim/patient ought to be treated at the hospital. [Dr. Ojukwu, the elder brother to Ezigbo, who is a well respected medical doctor in the area, was not made aware of Ezigbo’s health crisis.] The mismanagement of Ezigbo’s medical upkeep, at this point became open to the Ojukwu family. And in retort, Bianca took a stand and banned many of the family members from visiting or having a say in quelling the unfolding saga. She insisted on having Ezigbo remain at the house and for her personal Doctor to continue making daily house visits. And so, no cat-scan or other required medical procedures were performed on Ezigbo.
On December 19, 2010, it happened.
Ezeigbo’s system shutdown and he stopped breathing. Panic took the ambiance. The immediate family took over the mantle from Bianca and immediately began to make arraignments to transport Ezigbo to University Teaching Hospital, [UNTH] Enugu. Lifting of Ezigbo from the top floor of his home down to the lower floor – where the entrance and exits were – was not an easy or happy task due to the nonexistent medical supplies or equipment at the home. Ezigbo had to be carried on a mattress down the stairs and onto the ambulance. His physical state told a story that was vividly horrid... hygienically. His nails were badly overgrown and his body reeked of a toxic stench.

The trip to UNTH told another saddening saga. The elder brother to Ezigbo who up till December 19, 2010 was not aware that his younger brother was having a life threatening crisis, had coincidentally arrived at UNTH for another purpose – only to be surprised by his colleagues who told him of his brother’s condition.

Political juggernauts cash in…
It was also at this point that the political juggernauts seized the opportunity to cash-in what available currencies they found in Ezigbo gburugburu. Top on the list was the Governor of Anambra and the “political godson” of Ezigbo, Mr. Peter Obi. Gov. Obi immediately became “publicly concerned” over the health of Ezigbo. He started to guarantee airlift to a European country for treatment. But Bianca refused him entry into the house following an earlier misunderstanding. Governor Peter Obi was halted at the gate by security men as he tried to gain entry into the Ojukwu’s home. Bianca and Peter Obi had been on a tussle on how to pay for the airlifting. Peter Obi is reported to have been reluctant to release the required funds to facilitate for the airlift because he already disburses N15million monthly of Anambra State funds to Bianca for the upkeep of Ezigbo.
Arrangements for the airlift was said to have begun on the 6th of December 2010 [the day the family became aware], but Peter Obi, who had told the President [Jonathan] that he will carry the cost - was not as forthcoming. The family opted for an alternate means. And so, an air-ambulance from South Africa was dispatched to Enugu via the assistance of some South East philanthropists. However upon the Jet’s arrival, Peter Obi gave orders that Ezigbo should not be flown on that aircraft because he has already made arrangements. Ezigbo was now kept at the hospital till December 23, 2010 [additional four days] when Peter Obi’s arrangement arrived.
On the day of the airlift, the saddening display of greed and selfishness continued its odorous fermentation. As the airbus arrived and began to taxis into the marked area. Peter Obi, Bianca Ojukwu, Robert Okonkwo and others were in their respective corners inside the airport lounge being entertained. As Ezeigbo was wheeled to meet the air-flight medical team, Peter Obi, Bianca Ojukwu, Robert Okonkwo remained inside the lounged. The naked body of Ezeigbo which was only partially covered by the bedspread given to him from UNTH Enugu was handed over to the foreign medical team without Peter Obi or Bianca Ojukwu present. None of the political juggernauts assembled at the lounge made efforts at covering up Ezigbo gburugburu. When the air-ambulance was ready for takeoff, Bianca Ojukwu pleaded for her lover to be allowed onto the air ambulance. She was shunned.
Enugu UNTH Doctors uncover the cause…
An unpleasant twist to the sad tale comes through an interesting medical check from the physicians at the Enugu Hospital that point to a possible neglect and probably mischief on the part of both Bianca and her personal doctor. The medical examination conducted on Chief Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu indicated that high levels of heavy metals were introduced in his system. In particular, Sodium [Na+] levels in Ezeigbo’s system were reported to be 10 times its toxic limit. The medical examiners pointed to the Medical Drips administered to Ezigbo at home by Bianca’s personal doctor – as containing abnormal levels of Sodium. The high level of Sodium was found the cause of Ezeigbo’s coma of December 19, 2010.
One of the primary Doctors who attended to Ezeigbo at the Enugu UNTH told gossip news Bianca’s refusal to admit her husband to a facility for full medical and comprehensive care – primarily, laid the grounds to Ojukwu’s latest crisis. He explains that the high dose of Sodium in Ezeigbo’s system was because of the wrong medicines administered by Bianca’s personal Doctor. In particular, he marked the type of DRIPs used by Bianca’s Doctor on Ezeigbo as being highly suspect…especially for a stroke victim. “In a more advanced country, Bianca would be a person of interest to the investigative authorities by now”, added the Doctor.
The President’s reaction…
Interesting also is the Presidency’s reaction towards Ezeigbo’s illness. Without delay, the Presidency, fully aware of Ezeigbo’s rejection of President Jonathan’s job offer of a ministerial post to Bianca, reoffered Bianca a post in the Presidency - the position of a Special Advisor to the President on Diaspora Matters – a position lower than the original offer.
Bianca jumped on the offer.
She signed the offer letter on February 9, 2011, one day [February 8, 2011] after Chief Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu; Ezeigbo Gburu Gburu fell into the present coma. Now, 16days and counting…

Jim Iyke is controversial in nature can not be contested. His fights, arrogance, women battering, to mention a few, during his teenage period, testified to the man he would grow up to be and he has wonderfully displayed this traits at adulthood, especially as an actor and one of the well to do dudes in the entertainment industry in Nigeria.
Jim’s secret lover, Sally, a Sierra Leonean based in Essen in Germany, is reported to have been tested positive to the dreaded disease, Human Immuno-deficiency Virus popularly referred as HIV. The highly controversial actor, Jim Iyke, before now, information at our disposal reveals, has been involved in a lovey-dovey with this married Sierra Leonean without the knowledge of the public until the affair now became a mumbo-jumbo.

Sally, we learnt, having got entangled in an illicit affair with Jim Iyke during one of his visits to Germany, couldn’t resist the crush she had on him. She became so attached to Jim to the extent that whenever Jim was in town, she would lie to her husband that she needed to
travel out of town, whereas, she would be locked in a hotel room with the brand Ambassador, Jim. In return of such good gesture, Sally, many times, would come to Nigeria to see her friend, Success, who is based in Lagos, but would sneaked out to see Jim without Success getting to know. The relationship between Jim and Sally, later became public knowledge when the husband got wind of his wife’s adulterous moves with Jim and the quite but rich dude asked her to leave his house. The whole matter later became so complicated when the wife, Sally, told the husband that she was already carrying a baby for him.

The paternity of the baby was declined by the husband and that, we learnt, marked the beginning of her woes. After a lot of persuasions from friends and family, Sally, after she had been delivered of the baby, we gathered, opened up that Jim Iyke was responsible for the pregnancy and that he’s automatically the father of her baby. She further explained how she visited Jim in Nigeria three times without the knowledge of her husband or her friend’s, Success.
During the pregnancy period, rumour has it that, Sally contacted Jim in Nigeria to intimate him about the pregnancy only for Jim to have distanced himself immediately from her and warned her never to come to him or even call him for any reason again. Now, the baby is alive, an alleged split-image of Jim, but the sad tale about this whole story is that, Sally has now been diagnosed to be HIV positive and there is strong indication that Jim Iyke himself is likely to be sharing same status with Sally. Call it triple tragedy for Sally and you are not far from the truth. Effort to reach Jim Iyke to comment on this matter was aborted. .

Facts available to huhuonline revealed that the marriage of top actor, Femi Adebayo and his Kahdijat Bukola has hit the brick wall. The blissful marriage of the couple began to experience turbulent several months ago. After several reports made the rounds that the actor has been involved in secret affairs with the leading actress who featured prominently in the Yoruba movie Jenifa (a village prostitute who got admission to the University in the City) 1 and 2, Funke Akindele. Femi Adebayo is the son to the ace actor Adebayo Salami (Oga-Bello) who was formerly the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP) national President. Before things finally degenerated to this level, there have been several reports making rounds about how Femi sent Khadijat packing with three children after several efforts by and concerned friends and relatives to reconcile the embattled couple failed. Khadijat now presently live with her parents at Ikpe road, GRA Area, Offa, and Kwara State. The University of Ilorin Graduate of Computer Science huhuonline gathered has been abandoned and left to cater for three kids. The embattled woman also has to face the reality of getting a job for the upkeep of the children, unlike when she lived happily with her husband as a full house wife, to take proper care of the kids.A source further hinted huhuonline that several efforts made by Khadijat to be reconciled with her husband have yielded no result. There were situations she sent text messages to Femi about the crises in their marriage and he need to make up a couple. Such text messages a source informed are forwarded to by Femi to the mobile number of his father, Chief Adebayo Salami, which one way or the other always gets to other members of the Adebayo’s family, Khadijat’s family, we discovered, has not been happy with Femi’s father and mother the way they have handled the crises between the couple. They believe Oga Bello as an authority in the Nigeria movie industry should have called both his son Femi and Funke to order, rather than watch them, a situation that has adversely affected the marriage which has resulted in constant feature in the media, leading to an eventual crash. This ugly trend has caused more damage than truth. On his part Oga Bello has denied any knowledge of the relationship between and Funke. He said he’s not aware that his son, Femi is having an affair with Funke Akindele. Before this whole issue finally degenerated to its present state, Oga Bello earlier spoke, saying that only Femi and Funke can clear the on their relationship. He said: Everybody is entitled to his own opinion. Only Femi and Funke can talk better on that. I am their father in the industry.’’ Another Nollywood source of the Yoruba genre said these days, Funke has become the toast in Adebayo’s household. The source disclosed:‘ ‘Funke has played herself to be a very important to all members of Femi Adebayo’s family. They are involved in the production of her movies. Apart from that, she visits them at their Ikorodu, Lagos home regularly. ’’It was further gathered that Khadijat recently drank a toxic substance believed to be poison as a result of frustrations when the heat became seemingly unbearable for her sometime in September 2009. She was then taken to an undisclosed hospital. The crack in the matrimony became more obvious when Femi was spotted lodging at a popular hotel in Ibadan, with reports getting to wife that her husband was sighted at some fun spots with his new love Funke Akindele. Femi and Khadijat started well while dating; they were University of Ilorin students. Then, Femi was studying Law, which the soft spoken devoted Muslim studied Computer Science. It was gathered that the fact that Femi was Khadijat’s first love has made it difficult task for her to live without him. When the going was good, Femi apart from being an actor and a caring father also had a thriving Law office where he handled a few legal matters on properties and importation, while Khadijat kept the homefront going, taking care of the kids. Meanwhile, the relationship between Femi and Funke has continued to raise a lot of reactions amongst actors and actresses who are privy to how the two love birds relate on movie locations, and there have also been several situations when Funke had challenged some actresses who are close to Femi and who she often threaten to deal with. However, with disturbing stories like this, one would simply say most Nigerian actors and actress lack character and dignity and they stand in contrary to what their profession stands for (correction of societal ills). Incessant stories of spousal abuse, divorce, recklessness etc are often emanating from their end. It would be recalled that the circumstances surrounding the death of Monsurat Omidina (Omoladun_Kenkelewu) was also entangled with strands of protracted arguments and beating by Tunde Omidina (Babasuwe) her husband which arguably led to the death of Moladun. Also Lilian Bach was enmeshed in a husband snatching scandal recently. In another development Ronke Ojo (a.k.a. Oshodi-Oke) who got married to Sylvester Omogbolahan Anthony (an auto dealer) on January 24, 2009, also witnessed a crumbled marriage in October 2009, with the husband giving reason for the separation on grounds of infidelity; this is one too many.

Chris Brown's nude pics leaked online

12166301666?profile=originalChris Brown is at the centre of another naked photo leak scandal - and this images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSWFAV0VqtlWskxAkrENzDvqI_-r3xQaegs7L0_WjMmMGrmXyxMzMU2l11Ktime the saucy shots are of him.

A full-frontal nude photo of the disgraced Kiss Kiss star emerged online on Friday night.

The snapshot appears to have been taken recently - because it features Brown with his newly-bleached blond hair standing in front of a mirror.

Taking to Twitter.com on Saturday, Brown seemed to be far from upset about the leak, writing, “Another day!! Another lesson! Another party!! I’m so thankful to have the support of my fans with my music!”

It’s the second controversial photo leak involving Brown in two weeks - last month, new photos of a battered Rihanna were published online, showing the injuries the singer sustained when she was assaulted by Brown in February, 2009.

Previous naked photos of Rihanna, taken while she was dating Brown, hit the internet just before the couple split in 2009...

WorldStarHipHop.com were the recipients of the leak, featuring Brown standing in front of a bathroom taking the self-portrait.

It also appears that the photo was snapped sometime over the past few months or so - with Brown's bleached hair and an iPhone 4.

The Dirt understands that the saucy pic was meant to be sent to an ex of his. Which ex, we're not too sure.

Was this a publicity stunt for his album or a case of sexting gone wrong?
